SUMMERBASH 2022 | RAW

Dragged the S15 out after a long while.. Testing a number of changes including Acostal Motorsport Developments front subframe, KRC Power Steering Pump, different front steering alignment (less toe, less castor than usual), alot of grip in the rear with 3.5kg springs, 13psi tyre pressure cold 265/35/18. Overall steering was good , need to get some more seat time and sort out the gearbox shifter setup as it sometimes doesn't want to go into gear

Had a jerico before but that was bad at shifting above 8000rpm . Will setup a shift cut on this car and recheck the setup of the shifter - hopefully sorts it

Have you tried V2 wisefab? That steering looks painful!

Yeah I have , this steering feels mint . Personal view is that wisefab feels flat through the mid but is good once on angle. In this case I started with max steering lock and began winding it back but didn’t find the spot where it was perfect (to eliminate bind , though was close before breaking the car) . Will try again after sorting the dogs

@@ZPDrift yeah right just looks super weird on angle like the trailing wheel looks like its super twitchy. How do you run your Ackerman?

@@faithlessdrift4983 i think it's twitchy cause im either hard on the foot brake (as the rear is so hooked up) or i'm just getting too close to over centering . maybe both combined some of that time . couple more tracks days and will know

I think partly driver issue but also maybe a shifter setup issue . Will setup a shift cut and check the shifter , should be fixable
