Which quail that you sell are the least aggressive towards each other? Do you ship to Minnesota?

Thanks for your interest in our quail! Our least aggressive blood line is the Jumbo Wilds or the HPF Pharaoh line. Yes we ship to Minnesota! We ship all over the world!

Which one of your jumbo breeds has the largest eggs / birds? My jumbos have an average egg size of 15g and 410g for the 10 week old females. I've seen a guy on a forum claim his jumbos lay 20g eggs with 500g+ females at 10 weeks, but I doubt that.

Good question! So our jumbo wilds line lays on average 17g eggs and weigh about 15oz at 10 weeks of age. Our new Ciro White line that was imported from Egypt and then cross bred with Texas a&m quail are huge! Some of the biggest birds anyone has ever seen I'm quail. They lay eggs that are 19-24 Oz's and weigh 17-20 oz at 10 weeks. The Ciro line isn't out to the public right now as we are still working on improving the line with some other farms. They will be available for purchase im March! Thanks for commenting.

@@hatchpoultryfarmsllc5973 How does this increased size affect their health, temperament or genetics? Their ancestors started out only a 5th the size of what you claim to have and all the improvements to their size have mostly happened in the last 50 years... Also, do their offspring stay true to size / lay the same sized eggs most of the time? I've only had about 5-10% of my females lay smaller eggs consistently (those ones get culled).

@@UndefinedBailiwick The way the ciros were bred and then cross bred with texas a&Ms makes it a more natural for them to gain the weight. Ciro whites hatch 100% true and aslong as you are feeding them they will always reach that size. We have been working with the line for a while now and from all our commercial hatches they always hit that weight goal if they dont they get coaled/ Thrown in a mix breeding cage. Our jumbo wilds hatch true but only hit the weight goal about 95% of the time. Its important to make sure your jumbo line is of jumbo weight if you even mix one underweight bird it could screw up your jumbo line forever.

@@hatchpoultryfarmsllc5973 The last thing I was wondering about is temperament. I've heard that the a&M's can be aggressive. I've learned the hard way that aggressive birds can drastically reduce the productivity of breeders. And will you have the Ciro line on Ebay as well?
I was trying to check your website yesterday, but it wasn't responding. I tried a couple more times this morning and finally got a connection. Are you using a hosting service or are you hosting through your own network? It might be worth it to look into a hosting service that has redundancies to prevent outages.

@@UndefinedBailiwick Yes the ciro line will be on ebay and our site. Our site is down right now because we are changing hosting providers. So it may be down all day. The temperament is pretty much the same as a a&m but our a&ms are not aggressive unless you have to many males in a breeding cage.
