Your nature and hiking shots are so wonderful - you definitely flexed your filmography/photography skills 🤭 So excited to read Small Things Like These - Foster was really great, I still have to watch the film! - and I’m glad you enjoyed the SoC duology!! Definitely top tier YA on the more mature side!
Thank you! It’s such a great book as well - definitely worth picking up in winter ☺️ I was so impressed with it! They were such riveting books. I hope the Intermezzo spree is still treating you well ☺️
I needed this today Aisling . My husband and I also deal with Chronic Health concerns. He tested positive for COVID Monday. I went to Dublin on a junior high trip and love the mythology and greenery of Ireland. Rewitched , Foster and Small Things Like These are on my TBR. I'm more lonely with others and prefer to be alone too.
Amy, I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope it hasn’t hit him too hard, and that you’ve managed to avoid it yourself. Sending you lots of well wishes and hopefully things are looking a lot better very soon.
@@aiscahill He's still positive but on the mend. I'm negative. I've started Rewitched and am loving it. I just subscribed to Lucy Wood's UA-cam channel too.
I didn't expect this beautiful cozy vlog to be an extra❤! You definitely sold me on watching Small Things like these, what an interesting story about it being produced in your village!
It's a rare occasion to get a second video from me, but I think I'll just pop up the odd vlog as I finish them. Usually I abandon them rather than posting, which is probably quite silly 😅 I've heard it reviewing quite well, so I have very high hopes for it ☺️
This was a lovely surprise to wake up to! Ireland is such a stunning country. I’m so impressed that you managed that hike - I can’t even stand on a stepladder without my legs shaking and having a panic attack 😂 Can’t wait for Small Things Like These!
I can relate to what you said about being alone and being with other people! And what a beautiful country Ireland is! I have been there once. Really hoping to go back some time soon😍 Even though my reading taste isn't very similar to yours I really appreciate your ability to analyse the books, which isn't one of my strongest sides😊
It's interesting how so many of us feel that way. Sometimes I think maybe we should all be locked in a big room together, but then I realise that that's probably my worst nightmare. Introversion is a blessing and a curse in equal measures 😂 I'm glad you enjoyed your trip here! It's so easy to become complacent in the place that you live, but I've been trying to explore a little more and look at it through a different lens. Thank you for saying that. I often feel like I'm not so great at analysis, and don't have any original or interesting thoughts, so it was really nice to read your comment ☺️
Oh I loved this cozy vlog, and relate 100% to what you shared about being around other people. I’m so glad you loved this duology! I also want to read King of Scars, mostly for Nina who is my favorite. Did you have a favorite character?

I’m not so good with heights but I’m trying a little bit of exposure therapy. It’s not working 😂
Me too. It looks really great ☺️

Thank you! I really like all of them in their own ways, but I have a real soft spot for Jesper ☺️
I really enjoyed this format, this quiet and gentle vlog with sprinkles of books and thoughts. 🩵
Thank you! And thanks for watching ☺️
