Can I do it to in my backyard? What is the ground base required? Do it need compact the ground before installation?

Hi, thank you for your questions. Schlüter-TROBA-LEVEL can be done in your backyard, however the ground would need to be prepared before installation. In terms of the requirements of the ground base, a weed membrane would need to be used and then a compacted 75mm gravel base to be installed above. Great video 👍🏼 I find my 60 x 60cm porcelain tiles move very slightly on these supports and make a slight sound when walked on. Very annoying. Supports are on a solid concrete base. I’ve even tried using a grout between the tiles which stopped the sound for a few weeks but the movement has led to the grout falling out. Any advice please?

What is done to prevent tiles lifting in high winds? Is there a tile weight which keeps them in place for winds up to 100 KPH, 120 KPH ????

Thank you for your question :) It would be down to the self supporting slab supplied by an external party as it would be the weight of the stone being installed.
