I actually agree with this comment, Stillwater! Is the effortless of just connecting and just looking at the card and speaking to spirit I can actually feel it while she does it so effortlessly it’s key to just listen within when doing a reading but it’s difficult while in this physical world at least is what I felt. Really useful and simple. I'm not experienced with tarot but I find the larger spreads a bit overwhelming and confusing. I also don't like past, present and future three card pulls either. I think situation, obstacles and outcome is much more relevant. Also. clarification by taking another card is how I've been doing it. Glad that's a valid way!
I'm happy that it's helped. There are so many variations of spreads and I'm with you, I prefer smaller spreads unless I'm doing a deep dive on am issue. My go-to spreads are the celtic cross and three cards ❤
Totally agree with you. I'm not a fan of past, present future either. And I do tend to avoid spreads like the Celtic Cross. Simplicity and lucidity are what I'm after.
Yeah I like jumpers too. What do you do though when you don’t get any jumpers? Sometimes they just don’t want to jump. I do pull when that happens. But do you keep shuffling? Just curious what works for others.
The most important thing is to focus on the question and allow the cards to come to you in whatever way they want. Jumpers are cool but standard card turns or card pulls work just as well. Always stop shuffling when the time feels right, there shouldn't be a need to keep shuffling. I only shuffle again when I was distracted during shuffling and the cards don't feel right. I hope that makes sense❤️

Every spread I've done this way has been very accurate and provided something relevant to ponder on I've only done two so far, but it's a little bit surprising to me as someone new to tarot!
I was about to comment on your thread on the cards meanings that you should pop over here to this spread and then saw that you had❤️ This shows me you are serious about learning too. Next step is to make up scenarios, an imaginary client sits in front of you with their dilemma and you shuffle and read for that. Write them all down until they start telling a story and you'll be surprised how quickly you learn to 'read' the cards. I think that's why we call it a 'reading'. For yourself, start drawing three cards a day with the words 'what does the universe have in store for me today?' do it for 7 days straight and see what comes. It's practice, practice. When I have time in the next couple of weeks I will post the 'celtic cross' tutorial (I've got a lot of new decks to film first). Thank you for the wonderful video! Bought myself recently The Lord of The Rings Tarot Deck, gave it a try and wow! it coudln't be more accurate. After shuffling it countless times and giving another try, picking the same 4 out of 6 cards.. I think universe is trying to give me a sing... ..and the sign is focus on myself and self-improve so I don't feel like an outsider any more. I think I commented a bit too much and I'm feeling down again.

I love your videos. Interpreting obstacles always seems to be a challenge for me, especially if positive cards appear. How should we interpret as the reverse of what presents?
It's always a good idea to use a tarot spread, in the celtic cross there is a position specifically for obstacles and you can also use the 3 card spread with the middle spread as an obstacle. If a 'positive' card arrives in an 'obstacle' position it means that this is the obstacle. EG, A star appears and we know that this is a beautiful card, but in this instance it means this person has lost there way, given up on their dreams. So, it the opposite of the card, exactly the same as a reversal meaning. I hope that helps ❤️
I prefer to do it myself because I feel my deck is an extension of me and I like to keep the energy clean for the next reading. If I'm reading in person I sometimes ask them to choose which pile after I've cut them but most of the time I am talking to them whilst shuffling and laying the cards. Some readers do prefer to let clients shuffle and cut but I recommend a cleanse in between each different energy touching them if that makes sense
Hi I did a general 3 spread where the first two were knight of swords and 5 of cups the second was the star and knave of swords and the last two was the tower and 7 of swords. The last two made me a bit concerned ❤

It's difficult without knowing the exact question so I'll just give the card reading against the positions and hope that helps you feel more empowered. I'm also assuming you stuck to the spread of 1. current situation 2. obstacle and 3. likely outcome - you pulled 3 Major Arcana cards which as you know is very signifcant. 1. Current Situation ; The Fool. This is a significant change in your life. A step change that requires faith, trust, optimism and hope. The Fool is the first step which suggests that although you say you already have a partner something has recently or will now change that leads on this adventure towards your question. You are now ready to jump in... This is the beginning! 2. Obstacle ; The Magician. He is the Expert/master and turns ideas into reality. The perfect example of making magic and manifestation. As its the obstacle it suggests that you are an apprentice (new) at this concept or question. You are not in control. 3. Probable Outcome : The Hermit. You will find the answer within. The Hermit tells us to take time out, find ourselves, connect to our Higher purpose and shine light on the situation. Its a card of hibernation and introspection. Depending upon the question it could suggest 'growth from within'. I feel that with this reading, using the spread that I've highlighted above the answer is yes, all in good time, this is the beginning of your journey. Hope that helps ❤️

After I watched this video I decided to do my first reading on myself. It was about love, of course! I pulled six major arcana…is that uncommon? It was very powerful all the way around and I was very emotional by the end. I was just wondering about picking up all major arcana?? Can’t wait to learn more from you!
Major Arcana means major change and as such it's a period of significant movement in your love life. It will mean that there is a shift in your understanding about who you are, what you want and what you don't want. Significant patterns will need to be addressed. It's a big one which suggest that this is the area of the largest change in your life, and remember that even if you can't see the physical changes yet it's like dropping a stone in the pond, the ripples create the change. i dont really believe in the divination part, but i still love these cards and think that doing this is a good exercise in thinking about different parts of your life

Is there a certain age you have to be, to learn tarot. I’m currently in secondary school(not saying my age, for obvious reasons lol), and I am really interested, and fascinated.
That's a really good question. There aren't any rules as such, although it's better to have maturity. My own daughter was 14 when she really started showing an interest. There are so many books and courses that aren't age restrictive, but I would offer the following advice, and I believe the cards will respond to this approach. Learn in your late teens and learn everything you can about them, their history, and their role in guidance, not dictate. Build a relationship, draw a daily card, keep a journal, practice spreads. In other words, become a student and then master but do not read for others until you are 18. 🤎
Hi, that's a really good question. Yes, you can read at distance without the sitter if you adopt the following method: 1. They must give permission (if you are a tarot reader you are usually employed to conduct a reading which is permission) 2. You enter a quiet meditative state and allow your higher self to seek out their higher self with the intention to serve them as best as you can 3. Once you feel content that the connection is good you deal the cards for them. Hope that helps? ❤️
Does it matter which card comes out first? Like on the first setup, queen of swords followed by King of swords. Is the interpretation same if king of swords came out before queen of swords? Or just any other cards. Does it matter which card unfold first and it takes a different interpretation/meaning than the other card unfolding first? Please guide me.
Your intuition was right here, it does matter which one comes out first because it's the leading card. I placed two in the same position (column 1) because I like a clarifier so the two cards read as one sentence. The reason I said partnership was because it was a Queen and King of the same suit and I always read this as a partnership if they are from the same suit. The general rule of thumb is card 1 is the leading card and card 2 clarifies it. Queen of swords 'independent woman' with her partner but if it was perhaps the 3 of swords it would be a heartbroken (3 of swords/clarifier/adjective) woman (queen). You can better see this in action in the second column with clarity (ace of swords) at home (4 of wands). Hope that helps ❤️❤️
I just got my first set of tarot cards, watched your video and did this spread. But for my final outcome, the two cards I got were the star and the tower. I'm confused because according to the page I'm reading, the star is a good outcome and the tower is bad. How should I interpret this?
@LeppardPrintAnimal heading towards 'star' chaos 'tower' Or 'wishing for 'star' a revolutionary change 'tower' it depends on the question but the cards usually answer the question directly. I would read this as expect the unexpected in a good way ❤️
I found one in the woods, so i was wondering how these work. It was mind blowing that the first one i saw in this video is the one you accidently flipped at 0:53 and fhat is the very same card that i found in the forrest. What are the odds.
@WendyB555 great question thank you. This comes with practice, you'll just stop when it 'feels right' but until then tell the cards you will shuffle until the count of 20 or a number of your choice. When you've reached the number just stop. The cards take a little while to tune in with how we work too, it's a partnership as such. Hope that helps ❤️
So maybe you can help me piece this together. I've never had a tarot reading let alone touch a deck and I understood just about everything you said. It just came to me and I knew that the queen of pentacles was going to show up later. Why was it so clear? I know it was a fictional story but I read it so clearly. Help me try to understand this
You are evolving and your intuitive skills are reaching a level that you can trust them without question. You have described 'Claircognizance' here, which is an ability to 'know' things. I literally call it the 'knowing' and it's like a muscle, the more you work it the more developed it becomes. I hope that helps? ❤️

@lext5916 There are so many spreads available today and these are just a few that I recommend for quick study. My personal favourites are on this channel but I will be adding others very soon. You can even design your own if you can't find one that fits your needs. In fact the celtic cross I show on the channel is adapted from the original 1909 one to make more sense in our modern world ❤️
When interpreting the cards, do you rely on intuition to understand the message/meaning? For Some of the cards I dont see what you see in terms of the message

I just want to know how you are able to use intuition at the same time when you read the cards because the cards each have their own meaning and sometimes when I get readings from other tarot readers, I don’t quite understand how they get these elaborate messages even though the card has one meaning. So for instance, in the video, you interpreted a message from all three cards and were able to elaborate on the meaning. When I look at the cards, I just “see” what the tarot deck pamphlet says each card means. I don’t know if I am making sense. Essentially I just want to know how you are able to elaborate on the message.
Absolutely, it's important for the querent to understand that they are consulting the cards and you will be interpreting them. I ask the direct question 'What would you like the cards to tell you?' If they don't have an actual question, many go blank at this point, give them a 'general' reading using the Celtic Cross, it's a great ice breaker❤️
Tarot isn't keen on answering the same question twice. You can get around this by asking the tarot about the general situation and it may offer further insights ❤
@alaypatel6050 Yes OR you can do the most commonly used 3 card spread which is past (what has led you here) present (represents the current situation) and future (most probable outcome without intervention) ❤️

Good question. I have never read reversals. It may be something to do with my OCD 🙃 I personally know many professional readers like myself who don't either. It's also how you shuffle the deck that factors in reversals. My cards are upright when I shuffle the deck so would never be reversed. Having said that if I had a jumper and it landed reversed I would read it as a reversal, but it hardly ever happens. ❤
Well spotted - I don't read reversals at all and I wanted to keep it as simple as possible to avoid overwhelm. It's easier to remember 78 cards than 156 and it's not necessary to know the reversals as well to be a good tarot reader. They are simply a reversal of the upright meaning, blocks/obstacles and there are plenty of negative cards in the upright position that will give you the same answer. ❤️

Working with Tarot is strengthened by mutual trust and if you are asking the same question repeatedly it would suggest that you don't like the answer or don't trust it. The cards should give exactly the same response and if they don't its because they don't understand the question. It helps to be clear and then to ask a different question about the same topic. Bought myself recently The Lord of The Rings Tarot Deck, gave it a try and wow! it coudln't be more accurate.
After shuffling it countless times and giving another try, picking the same 4 out of 6 cards.. I think universe is trying to give me a sing...
..and the sign is focus on myself and self-improve so I don't feel like an outsider any more.

I love your videos. Interpreting obstacles always seems to be a challenge for me, especially if positive cards appear. How should we interpret as the reverse of what presents?
It's always a good idea to use a tarot spread, in the celtic cross there is a position specifically for obstacles and you can also use the 3 card spread with the middle spread as an obstacle. If a 'positive' card arrives in an 'obstacle' position it means that this is the obstacle. EG, A star appears and we know that this is a beautiful card, but in this instance it means this person has lost there way, given up on their dreams. So, it the opposite of the card, exactly the same as a reversal meaning. I hope that helps ❤️

What if you are doing it for someone, do they have to shuffle or cut the deck in half? Or do you do the whole thing just like you did?
I prefer to do it myself because I feel my deck is an extension of me and I like to keep the energy clean for the next reading. If I'm reading in person I sometimes ask them to choose which pile after I've cut them but most of the time I am talking to them whilst shuffling and laying the cards. Some readers do prefer to let clients shuffle and cut but I recommend a cleanse in between each different energy touching them if that makes sense
Hi I did a general 3 spread where the first two were knight of swords and 5 of cups the second was the star and knave of swords and the last two was the tower and 7 of swords. The last two made me a bit concerned ❤

It's difficult without knowing the exact question so I'll just give the card reading against the positions and hope that helps you feel more empowered. I'm also assuming you stuck to the spread of 1. current situation 2. obstacle and 3. likely outcome - you pulled 3 Major Arcana cards which as you know is very signifcant.
1. Current Situation ; The Fool. This is a significant change in your life. A step change that requires faith, trust, optimism and hope. The Fool is the first step which suggests that although you say you already have a partner something has recently or will now change that leads on this adventure towards your question. You are now ready to jump in... This is the beginning!
2. Obstacle ; The Magician. He is the Expert/master and turns ideas into reality. The perfect example of making magic and manifestation. As its the obstacle it suggests that you are an apprentice (new) at this concept or question. You are not in control.
3. Probable Outcome : The Hermit. You will find the answer within. The Hermit tells us to take time out, find ourselves, connect to our Higher purpose and shine light on the situation. Its a card of hibernation and introspection. Depending upon the question it could suggest 'growth from within'.
I feel that with this reading, using the spread that I've highlighted above the answer is yes, all in good time, this is the beginning of your journey.

After I watched this video I decided to do my first reading on myself. It was about love, of course! I pulled six major arcana…is that uncommon? It was very powerful all the way around and I was very emotional by the end. I was just wondering about picking up all major arcana?? Can’t wait to learn more from you!
Major Arcana means major change and as such it's a period of significant movement in your love life. It will mean that there is a shift in your understanding about who you are, what you want and what you don't want. Significant patterns will need to be addressed. It's a big one which suggest that this is the area of the largest change in your life, and remember that even if you can't see the physical changes yet it's like dropping a stone in the pond, the ripples create the change. Is there a certain age you have to be, to learn tarot. I’m currently in secondary school(not saying my age, for obvious reasons lol), and I am really interested, and fascinated.

That's a really good question. There aren't any rules as such, although it's better to have maturity. My own daughter was 14 when she really started showing an interest. There are so many books and courses that aren't age restrictive, but I would offer the following advice, and I believe the cards will respond to this approach. Learn in your late teens and learn everything you can about them, their history, and their role in guidance, not dictate. Build a relationship, draw a daily card, keep a journal, practice spreads. In other words, become a student and then master but do not read for others until you are 18. 🤎

Hi, that's a really good question. Yes, you can read at distance without the sitter if you adopt the following method: 1. They must give permission (if you are a tarot reader you are usually employed to conduct a reading which is permission) 2. You enter a quiet meditative state and allow your higher self to seek out their higher self with the intention to serve them as best as you can 3. Once you feel content that the connection is good you deal the cards for them. Hope that helps? ❤️

Does it matter which card comes out first? Like on the first setup, queen of swords followed by King of swords. Is the interpretation same if king of swords came out before queen of swords?
Or just any other cards. Does it matter which card unfold first and it takes a different interpretation/meaning than the other card unfolding first? Please guide me.
Your intuition was right here, it does matter which one comes out first because it's the leading card. I placed two in the same position (column 1) because I like a clarifier so the two cards read as one sentence. The reason I said partnership was because it was a Queen and King of the same suit and I always read this as a partnership if they are from the same suit. The general rule of thumb is card 1 is the leading card and card 2 clarifies it. Queen of swords 'independent woman' with her partner but if it was perhaps the 3 of swords it would be a heartbroken (3 of swords/clarifier/adjective) woman (queen). You can better see this in action in the second column with clarity (ace of swords) at home (4 of wands). Hope that helps ❤️❤️
I just got my first set of tarot cards, watched your video and did this spread. But for my final outcome, the two cards I got were the star and the tower. I'm confused because according to the page I'm reading, the star is a good outcome and the tower is bad. How should I interpret this?
@LeppardPrintAnimal heading towards 'star' chaos 'tower' Or 'wishing for 'star' a revolutionary change 'tower' it depends on the question but the cards usually answer the question directly. I would read this as expect the unexpected in a good way ❤️

How do you know when to stop shuffling? I can’t seem to wrap my brain around how spirit is supposed to be the one choosing the cards?
@WendyB555 great question thank you. This comes with practice, you'll just stop when it 'feels right' but until then tell the cards you will shuffle until the count of 20 or a number of your choice. When you've reached the number just stop. The cards take a little while to tune in with how we work too, it's a partnership as such. Hope that helps ❤️

So maybe you can help me piece this together. I've never had a tarot reading let alone touch a deck and I understood just about everything you said. It just came to me and I knew that the queen of pentacles was going to show up later. Why was it so clear? I know it was a fictional story but I read it so clearly. Help me try to understand this
You are evolving and your intuitive skills are reaching a level that you can trust them without question. You have described 'Claircognizance' here, which is an ability to 'know' things. I literally call it the 'knowing' and it's like a muscle, the more you work it the more developed it becomes. I hope that helps? ❤️

@lext5916 There are so many spreads available today and these are just a few that I recommend for quick study. My personal favourites are on this channel but I will be adding others very soon. You can even design your own if you can't find one that fits your needs. In fact the celtic cross I show on the channel is adapted from the original 1909 one to make more sense in our modern world ❤️
When interpreting the cards, do you rely on intuition to understand the message/meaning? For Some of the cards I dont see what you see in terms of the message

I just want to know how you are able to use intuition at the same time when you read the cards because the cards each have their own meaning and sometimes when I get readings from other tarot readers, I don’t quite understand how they get these elaborate messages even though the card has one meaning. So for instance, in the video, you interpreted a message from all three cards and were able to elaborate on the meaning. When I look at the cards, I just “see” what the tarot deck pamphlet says each card means. I don’t know if I am making sense. Essentially I just want to know how you are able to elaborate on the message.

When you read for someone, should they tell you the question they are asking? I imagine it would help the interpretation.
Absolutely, it's important for the querent to understand that they are consulting the cards and you will be interpreting them. I ask the direct question 'What would you like the cards to tell you?' If they don't have an actual question, many go blank at this point, give them a 'general' reading using the Celtic Cross, it's a great ice breaker❤️

Good question. I have never read reversals. It may be something to do with my OCD 🙃 I personally know many professional readers like myself who don't either. It's also how you shuffle the deck that factors in reversals. My cards are upright when I shuffle the deck so would never be reversed. Having said that if I had a jumper and it landed reversed I would read it as a reversal, but it hardly ever happens. ❤

Well spotted - I don't read reversals at all and I wanted to keep it as simple as possible to avoid overwhelm. It's easier to remember 78 cards than 156 and it's not necessary to know the reversals as well to be a good tarot reader. They are simply a reversal of the upright meaning, blocks/obstacles and there are plenty of negative cards in the upright position that will give you the same answer. ❤️

Working with Tarot is strengthened by mutual trust and if you are asking the same question repeatedly it would suggest that you don't like the answer or don't trust it. The cards should give exactly the same response and if they don't its because they don't understand the question. It helps to be clear and then to ask a different question about the same topic.
