On our last day in Kerala, we stayed in Alleppey for a backwaters boatt ride. It was a Monday with less tourists so we managed to bargain and get the boat for 500 rs. per hour for three hours. The guide drove the boat through beautiful Kerala villages and backwaters where the only mode of transportation is a boat. We also got down in one of the villages to have some coconut water and freshen up. It was a beautiful experience.
- We stayed in PALMY RESIDENCY in Alleppy for 2400 rs. for four people in non AC rooms.
- For North Indian food you can try Mahaveer Restaurant. They have good north Indian food.
- The elephant traning camp costs Rs. 500 pp for 350 meters trip with a minimum of two people per trip. We skipped that.
- Other things to do includes the Alleppey Beach and light house.
