👇🏽 Main Text
Hello everyone, I'm Susie!
Today I'm going to share a bit about my work routine as a journalist.
My morning starts early,
usually I leave home around 8:00 a.m. and head straight to the newspaper office
where I have breakfast while waiting for my workday to start at 9:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, I greet my coworkers
and begin to catch up on the day's news.
As a journalist, it's important to always stay informed about
the events happening in the city and around the world.
So, I spend some time researching and fact-checking
before starting to work on my own stories.
Once I have a clear idea of what I want to cover,
I meet with the team to plan and outline our reports.
Together, we discuss the topics of interest
and decide how we will approach them in the best possible way.
After the meeting, it's time to get into action.
We move on to the production stage, where we capture footage,
conduct interviews, and gather archival material for our reports.
It's a labor-intensive process, but also very rewarding,
because we know that we are contributing to keeping our community informed.
With all the material in hand, it's time to edit the reports.
We work with video editors to organize the footage,
cut unnecessary segments, and add captions and graphics when needed.
It's a crucial part of the process, as we want to ensure
that our reports are clear, concise, and impactful.
After editing, we go through a phase of review and approval.
We carefully review each report to ensure that all information
is correct and that the message is clear.
With everything ready, it's time to broadcast our reports.
Our local newspaper airs every evening around 7:00 p.m.
It's an exciting moment to see our work
being shared with the community.
Knowing that we are helping people stay informed and connected
is what motivates me to keep doing what I do.
