Normally if you feed the chicken the left overs from your vegetable and greens garden the meats are not white. They have a beautiful colour. I like boil and fry too. Have you ever had provision with pepper pot. It is delicious. I missed a flight while going through Miami and they gave us a food voucher and I ordered that. It was so good. I love how you and your family are very close with each other. In my household we only cook soup in the Winter time. The summer is too hot for soup, but if We cooked soup in the Winter time, We always leave some back into two containers in the freezer, if my husband or I get sick during the Winter we can warm up a container.

Good evening, I had tennis roll with butter and anchor cheese for breakfast. We also get butter flap in NY. My dad says the same thing. He has to get rice once a day. Take cassava and boil with salt until tender ,then coat with beaten egg and fry until golden brown. You can add little salt and black pepper to the egg. I like my soup thin too. In Trinidad we put dumplings... no filling inside ... roll and cut into cubes or straight pieces... we don't knead the flour with baking powder or yeast ... your mom soup looks very delicious
Never heard Guyanese putting filling in their dumplings. We put the small dumplings in the soup and the duff in metemgee and boil and fry. I never had the duff in the soup. It looks good, so I will try that in my soup whenever I make soup.
