SKSE doesn't launch anymore after adding this mod... I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I added the mod, edited the ini files but when I launch SKSE, it opens with a black screen and shuts off after 2 seconds. Any help would be appreciated
At first I can't open the upscaler menu and at some point my game was constantly crashing, after hours of try&error i finally found the problem, it was either my USSEP or my Skse64. Just to make people be aware to install those two properly
Oh damn, it actually works, im using rudy enb for nat 3 with quality setting for upscaler, it gets me up to 70-90 fps exterior. Thank you very much for this video
@@kuro.editzzz Im using a laptop and that 70-90 was only with enb, with a 300 mod playlist with 2k-4k retextures, i get up to 50-60 fps stable exterior RTX 3060 AMD Ryzen 9 500G SSD 16G ram

But I'm limited by vram so it spills to my 16gb ram and so on then I get those awful stutters. Did the dlss make the vram and ram usage better for you? I honestly don't even mind 30fps. As long as it'd stable

Now that's more like it, i can chose hd resolution in game options and just upscale it to display native resolution using quality or ultra quality resolution. This video gives explanation on how upscaling works.

Make sure that you pick the right upscaler for your card in the ini file. I had selected dlss by accident with an amd card and it wouldn’t load. I changed it to fsr and it worked.

look up gamer poets on you tube, watch how he does a step by step guide, no extra bla bla bla, just this, do this, do this, do this. done. we dont need all the waffle, the over explaining the side notes, going off track on random pages or anything like that. then copy how he does it. just some practical advice. good attempt, but i couldnt really follow half the shit you talked about, we just want to know how to do it, thanks for the tutorial though
@@evanoconnell9448 Your CPU can only handle so many things going on at once in Skyrim, so if you have mods that add, for example, outskirts for towns and it's causing your FPS to drop, using dlss won't help.
Yes, also look on puredarks patron page and copy and paste the title and version of Skyrim frame generation or fg, and type download after it, paste that in Google and you should find frame generation download in reddit, that one you install into reshade folder.
I'm currently using SkyrimUpscalerENBTestBuild10 rather than the default upscaler. I have it set to balanced as well as DLSS, with SSE Display Tweaks resolution at 1920x1080, and instance settings set up to 2560x1440. When I get into game, however, my resolution is being upscaled from around 1460x800 (somewhere around there) so the quality looks horible. How do I get the quality to be upscaled from 1080 -> 1440
i download nolvus got it finally to add the mods and ended only with 2068 is this going to cause a game breaking bug i went on discord not much help i have little understanding of this mod stuff what is this for I'm thinking of reinstalling is it better or do you need to put this on a separate drive from the C drive/ I'm level six and i ran into a place where i cannot open the doors nor get out the way i came in essentially i was trapped... looking for help anyone do remote access to assist?
Nolvus has been through several updates that have added and removed mods, the dlss mod should still work fine since it does not rely on any other mods. As long as you do not add any other mods your game should run as intended. Skyrim modded is supposed to be installed on a separate hard drive, not on the hard drive with you're operating system. Do not move the files, delete them and then reinstall on separate hard drive or you may run into file path errors, this includes the nolvus install program.

I have not played nolvus in many months since I need a new computer, when I did play I did not experience any bugs with high poly head, you may need to switch to high poly head in the character creation menu where it says head part or something along those lines but it should be selected by default, you can also report bugs, I believe in the nolvus launcher.
Many of the people in the nolvus discord have experienced many problems and have figured out how to mitigate them just ask around and someone will eventually help you out. The modlist creator is a very nice man and has many tutorials and fixes on the nolvus discord but I'm not saying that he will have a fix for your particular problem unless many people are experiencing the same thing. It is pretty easy, the mod does cost but if you search the file name up on google “skyrim enb upscaler test build 10 download” you’ll find it on Reddit for free, just pay close attention to the video it’ll explain how to do it.
@@einsleyharriot1294 I'm sorry, but fsr is not as good as dlss so you won't see much of an fps difference when you use it, I didn't either 😭 the only thing I can suggest for you is changing the fsr quality to performance if you haven't already. I intended this video for those whom have dlss. I wish I could help you more.
There is an mod called imaginator which will allow you to enhance the color scheme and contrast, bloom of you're game, it was what I used when I couldn't use an enb with an gtx 1050ti. It gets you a similar look as an enb, but without the cost of fps.

You can also just drag the downloaded file to the downloads tab to automatically put it into MO2 rather than using the file selector

doesnt work, i hit run skse on MO2 and it starts to load, then it just crashes straight away

The upscaler that came with nolvus 5v does not support enb so yes.
For some reason, when I install the upscaler it turns off my enb and the enb series menu is cut off near the midde. Don't know what that's about.

I forgot... I believe they have to do with different scaling Techniques like Fsr and intel scaling presets as well as preset for dlss.

If your gpu is amd use FSR2 and if it's Intel use XeSS

This is such a godsend mod, but just a little note. If you're using enb and bottlenecked by drawcalls, this mod won't do anything.

Set them both to 1440, you don't need to change your resolution the mod does that for you. Change the dlss .ini file quality setting.

I can't remember if I stated in the video, turn of depth of field and antialiasing in your enb menu or enb ini files.

No, this only supports the dlss card from the rtx 20 series and newer.
But there is a fsr setting in the .ini file you can switch to which supports most cards as well as amd.
Although the best quality is achieved with dlss...
