- The Most hated build in 2K history.... the Post Scorer. Post Scoring used to be an art, it used to be a skill but now it is just abusing broken games mechanics year after year. I created a Joel Embiid build that will chnage the way you view post scoring. I build that doesnt need to spam hook shots or paint mash but can be used as a versatile post scoring build that can dominate with an arsenal of post fades, post hop shots, up and unders, 3 point shooting and many more!

- Joel is the best scoring Center but needs more playmaking to win an MVP
- Jokic is the best Center in the league. Easily best passing big man of all time and can shoot from anywhere and has post moves.
- KAT is not on Embiid or Jokic's level, but shoots the 3 better than either of them.
Nah embiid has taken major steps in playmaking this year and passes out of doubles way better this year
Embiid got 1% of Jokic basketball IQ. He is skilled and more athletic but he is too stupid.
I don’t even mention Towns, he wants to be a guard but has a big man body. Well known as Post-Soft center.
@@jacoponotarberardino755 Embiid isn't that stupid. He has less basketball IQ but not not little. Kat is probably the best shooting center in the league currently and I'd argue will be up there in best shooting centers of all time by the time he retires.

I made a post scorer on 20 and my teammate kept on laughing at me for not hooking, but I love basketball and wanted to be more realistic. Fading and doing the drop steps, up and under moves, dream shakes and shooting 3s is so much more fun than hooking.

@@sethshepherd3221 I’m a powerforward, but I’ll end up being at the center position in park. I’ll lock you, and block you a few times, I promise you that. I’ve been against good post scorers and destroyed them. I’m 6’10 but my build got speed compared to most centers, you won’t speed past me that easily.

the best scoring center is easily Kat when he's in his bag. the best playmaking center is Jokic, he's also got a nice jumpshot. Defensive, in the paint, big easily Gobert. Perimeter defender is Bam. Joel is easily the best all arounder though, a Hakeem light. When healthy, there's nobody taking him by themselves other than maybe Giannis.

I've played as a post scoring Kevin Garnett style power forward or center in every 2k for the last 8 years, and it's by far my favorite build. So sad to see the archetype devolve into X mashing in the paint.

@Joe Knows thanks for the build idea I tweaked it a little to get more badges got 1 extra playmaking and got 4 extra shooting just by only putting the three up 2 60 and my mid at 57 and put the rest of my points to max free throw bc attribute points give u more badges there

i subbed back in 17 when i made a player modeled after hakeem and didn’t know i’d end up with the best big man build. had a 97 post with all the badges except 3 park ones i think and i went into every game knowing i’d win. most fun i had playing 2k by far
When he’s healthy I would prob take AD when he’s playing like AD even tho he’s technically a 4 mainly!

whats the jumper you used ? i been looking forever for a good jumper for a center 7+ cus most of the good bases are gone for centers
You could try set 25 as base jumpshot. I'm using it for my 6'11 power forward. It's a pretty fast jumpshot if you max out its release speed.
If you make this build 6’10 at small forward you get +4 to your 3pt and the name “rugged wing” still 90 post hook

@@youngdrip2427 up to low 90s I believe depending on weight and giving up speed. I made mines 62 speed 83 strength so @ 99 it’ll have 70 speed 91 strength. A little more valid on the perimeter
Back in 17 I was a post scorer and I had no clue what I was doing I would just try to dunk post fade up and under and shoot 3s

On next gen Make a glitched 6’9 build and lower the wingspan til u get 80 ball handle, u can make a post scorer with 80 3 point and 80 ball handle with maxed defence. Badge layout is 27/23/24/26 plus 6 from college badges u can add those anywhere get like 30+ defence
This a demi god post scorer build ong u still get 87 steal as a 6’9 that’s gold interceptor gold pick pocket, u can get 84 mid range with gold difficult shots and run post dagger and sharp take , can take post fades from anywhere
It’s a pure glitch build cause 6’9 shouldn’t get 80 ball handle

@@beanteam2217 it depends what play style u want bro if u want the dribble post scorer that can dribble round go lowest but if u wanna be more of a backdown punisher go higher strength, tbh I like to dribble around so I go for the faster player , 80 ball handle means u get dame lillard size up and all so U can really just iso around the 3 aswell if u wanted too with 80 three point. It’s such a versatile build it could break the game if more people were on it but they all went straight for the max wingspan 90 steal version
