It is a mindset: what you hate about the traveling, is something exiting for others. Travel to the airport. Find the check inn. Even if you have to stand in line for ( some) time, you can observe other peoples, the systems, interactions. Security: officials or a contractor? All the weird destinations, exotic people.
Warsaw a disadvantage? Not really as a feeder airport to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris. Your ticket is at least 300-400€ cheaper from Warsaw than a direct flight from Amsterdam.
Travel time is one of my decision criteria in deciding where to go next. I totally agree with you; the transit is the worst part of traveling. Glad you are ready to go in Panama!

I’ve only watched 2:13 minutes of this video and I can already understand why the title has the word “hate”. This woman complains about getting up at 3am, complains about the lines being long at the airport, complains about being cold in the airplane. Way to much negativity for me to keep watching. BTW I’ve been to to Panama 3 times in the last 2 years and it’s beautiful. Friendly people, good food, good nightlife (reminds me of Miami a bit), and if you have a chance visit San Blas it’s a wild experience.

To be honest I have only seen a couple, so my favourite was Puerto Escondido, but I heard that in general in Oaxaca there are a lot of cool beach spots :)

Sometimes travel can be draining with unexpected long delays, or other setbacks you can't control. Other times it can go smooth and be a great experience.

Hi. The weather will be different. February is in the dry season (we call it summer because there is no rain). Temperature will be in the 30s Celsius with less humidity. For some people may be hot between 11am and 3pm, during this hours is better to do indoor activities. Be aware that february 17 to 20 Panama celebrate one of the biggest festivities, Carnaval.

It’s the reality of layovers, obviously you can’t relate. But you took the time to write this comment for some reason.
Even better three dumb travel decisions in a row: getting an airport taxi, staying at a hotel, ordering room service.
Haven't traveled alone in years because I go with my wife now. Traveling alone is fun and can be lonely. I haven't traveled to Central America but I find north America not conducive to solo travelling. North Americans are solitary compared to most Europeans and you have to go on what I call the circuit to meet other traveller's. No city in north America has the equivalent of a backbackers row like you find in Europe or Asia. I never liked hostels for the accommodation but great place to meet people. Most people there won't be everyone's preferred type to meet but if busy enough you will always meet someone you can hang out with.

@@KajaKubicka Yeh! I'm not even looking at a map so maybe it's way too far. I've only been to Europe twice (from New Zealand it's ... quite a long way), and used trains extensively. So checking now I see it's about ... 16.5 hours. Oh.

YOu are not alone! THis is a bit hardcore but a tip I received about taxis is to know the estimate and have that in cash in hand... I have also been in situations before where the driver was arguing about his overcharging/ not being honest and I just put down that amount of cash and left i.e. walked away.
This is the best tip. I’ve done it before too when arguing with a taxi driver who tried to rip me off. Make sure to get your luggage from the trunk first before getting ready to pay (if you brought big luggage with you that could only fit in the trunk).

@@user-vu3ob7wl9k I’ve never had them be that clever, mostly because the ones who think they can rip you off are actually quite stupid themselves lol. If that did happen to me then I would just lie and say “oh I have the rest of my cash in my luggage, I need to get it out for you.” And take the luggage and run!
They are not going to chase you because they can’t leave the taxi.
