The one thing I wish you talked about is whether or not the tablets in question.Have an option to connect with your cellular service so you can use it with your data when out of the house.
@FishBeeProductions It's what I'm trying to base my decision on because I do a lot of business when traveling. So for applications like that, having the ability to use my data is a mandatory.
I agree 100%! As a frequent bikepacker, I'm always on the look out for a good tablet between 8-10" with cellular option and removable battery😅. Samsung Tab active5 is a great one with a headphone jack, swapable battery, cellular 5G option. However, it's gone backward with a USB 2.0 port!!! Common it's 2024!! So DEX mode is sloow compared to its predecessor Active3/ 4pro which all have USb 3.2.
Really? The iPad Air is 10.9 or 12.9 inches and the S10 Ultra is 14 inches and much wider in the hand. That's a big difference. I'm not saying I mind the larger tablet but they're definitely different experiences.
Would have been nice to break them out by price for performance...ie: comparing iPad and Samsung vs Onn or Blackview is a bit unfair because the price gap is huge.
I don't understand why Lenovo Tab Plus is in C tier. I have it and is my favorite among other tablets i have like Samsung and Apple. 90 hertz refresh rate, above average battery like and superb audio output and cheaper than other big brands...it really a good media consumption device!!!
only reason for me is its a little more awkward to use like a regular tablet because of the speaker bulk compared to regular tablets, otherwise i would say its B tier
I ordered an hinor magic pad 2 on a black Friday deal. £400 (about $500 u.s). Comes with keyboard case, magic pencil and i got a 100w charger for an extra £4.99. It looks awesome for the price. Im hoping it'll fulfil my rather basic needs. Unfortunately i wont have it for another week due to it being relatively new and there being a backlog of orders. But you should definitely check it out if you can get one.
@Pofigdym what do you mean? It has Google services in the UK. It's Huawei that doesn't have Google services and honor isn't part of Huawei anymore and isn't subject to the ban.
Did I miss the Alldocube iPlay 60 8" Mini Turbo ? Would have liked to have seen prices listed as well.. for example, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ 12" and Walmart ONN 12.1" are in different price universes, right?
Thank you for the effort. However, please use time stamps, use chapters, put product names on the screen, and put their average retail prices on screen too. I only watched some of your video, because I completely lost track of what you were talking about 🙂
@4:37 you said there is no video output on oneplus pad 2....so does that mean I cannot use this device as a secondary screen for my laptop or pc.....I mean I do video editing on Adobe softwares and I need a secondary screen so is this device capable of doing that? If no then which device works among redmagic Nova, Xiaomi pad 7, and ipads? And what should I look for if I want that feature?sorry I am a tech noob
I am constantly to buy Xiaomi pad 6, do you suggest it for me since newer tablets are not available in my country, also I want to use it mainly to connect to projectors. Does it work?
I am a vocalist in a band. I use an old IPad for my lyrics monitor. It's old and I need an upgrade. From what I am Seeing The s10 plus or ultra would be my best bet? I can edit videos etc. Am I right??? Thank you. Mike
If you're set on getting a Tab s10 then the s10+ will be a better choice unless you want a VERY big screen and also if you want to spend a little bit less. The s10+ and the Ultra have the same processor and won't have any problems for editing or anything else at all.
Loved the video and I agree with everything. The S10 line is definitely S tier. The iPad pro M4 would be too but you didn't review it so of course it's not on the list. I don't know how much price factor into the choices, but anyway I own dozen of tablets and I think you really made a great tiering here
I feel like you over emphasize software updates, and pay little attention to ram and cpu/gpu. For instance, putting the alldocu tablets at a c level when they have good ram, processors, run android 14 and can handle drm content, seems very harsh considering the price. They outperform most of the Samsung tablets ar much lower price, and you can really buy new ones much more often so updates don't matter that much.
Question, isn’t there a 4 GB Amazon HD 8 with 64 GB of storage? There is also the AI features that are coming to all Amazon tablets. Good run down of options.
Here’s a budget option VERY worth exploring in a review. My wife and I each have one to meet different needs and we love them: The GT40 ProMax from 7keTree. Android 14, 14.1” screen, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage (there’s also a 512GB option), MediaTek chipset, no bloatware; comes bundled with folio case-stand and Bluetooth keyboard, all for about $235. Sold prolifically worldwide by eBay vendors, at 7keTree’s own eBay store and at outlets like Walmart. The GT40 ProMax has had virtually no review coverage anywhere and it deserves a comprehensive look from someone somewhere.
I think a better deal if you want an iPad mini is to get the 6th generation as it's on sale and it's quite fast enough and you can get an Apple pencil 2 and it will work great with the pad. The seven does come with a faster processor so maybe if you use your iPad mini for games it would be worth the cost but besides that just save yourself a boatload of money and get the mini six
The Galaxy Tab Active5 has horrible battery life. I owned one but sold it after 4 months. And Samsung says the battery can be swapped out for a fresh one but they don’t sell spare batteries.
You know if they put a good battery in it, and it had a good midrange processor, it would just make too much sense and be an actual long lasting device. As, a result they won't be able to scam you for a few years.
@@bof8oom That's my thinking too. With one exception. I actually migrated to Apple as a result of a few products Samsung released that bugged the crap out of me. That's after a decade with Samsung.
I think you should include the pricing too, some tablet are amazing compare to their price, but spending more than 500 usd to get a mid tablet like ipad, and now you put it on A tier? I disagree
@FishBeeProductions yes I grabbed the 2023 edition for the expansion slot.. It's a beast.. Do all my video editing on it.. Also have the Samsung Tab S9 Ultra
iPads are the best. Apps made for tablets not smartphones. So many years of OS updates and security updates. For raw speed and great screen, iPad Pro with M4. M4 is a Beast!
I'm pretty mad at how Apple manages their tablet department. It feels like they could do better, but just don't bother cause else they would compete with the Mac. M2 is extremely powerful, but the OS is so limited you can barely do anything with it
Ipad mini 7 only sucks for one single reason. Maybe 2. Black bars for video watching are too big because the aspect ratio sucks. And the charge speed is waaay too slow. Orher than that, it's amazing. And if they fixed the screen ratio, i could accept the charging issue.
The Redmi Pad Pro is definitely an A tier tablet as it has a 120hz refresh rate and it's currently selling for $220 USD for the base model on Amazon. Yet for some reason you put the Onn 12.1" in the same tier even though the performance & build quality isn't even in the same category.
@@FishBeeProductions I mean the Onn tablet 12.1 isn't even in the same class as the Redmi Pad Pro, maybe in price they can kind of come close, yet the Redmi Pad Pro has identical benchmarks to the S9FE
I own the Redmi Pad Pro 6GB/128GB and IRL use SoT is about 22 hrs... The only difference between the POCO Pad and Redmi Pad Pro is the POCO is only available as 8GB/256GB (in the US). Redmi Pad Pro is available in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB & 8GB/256GB
First gen oneplus tab is going so cheap here in india it's like $250 for 256gb using mediatek 9000 chip. Gaming performance is top notch. And when you start using its 144hz display 60hz ipad will seem a decade old tech.
Putting any Android tablet over an iPad is just plain wrong. Even if you don’t like Apple, you have to admit that ever since the first iPad, every other company just continues to play catch up.
I compared my s9+ features with ipad air 2024 and there is not a single feature that I'm missing out, plus during sales the prices are slashed by half so literally becomes the GOAT of tablets, But again it can't beat the processor of apple so only cons it has but as a student for me features and ux matters more than just a processor
Video biased on the Tab S6 Lite. It doesn't deserve the B tier just because of the S Pen. Performance is not so great, it's more like C tier. Missing the iPad Pro in the S tier. Biased towards Samsung. :(
im sorry but i have samsung s9 and i sold it. .... if u compare apps,,,, ipados os is far more optimized and have better UI/UX than any android apps for tablet.
Of course no pricing and cellular considerations! Most if not all know Apple and Samsungs are top… ranking any tablets with not much more support than Alldocube 60 is clearly wrong or bias…
A price stamp on screen reminding us how much it was at launch, and how much it is now can also help placing these in mind..
Adding the price would help…and the name of the tablet as you review them
I think you should put the names of tablets on screen
Agreed
