A few years ago I saw a news special on the General after his retirement while he was a ordained minister working with U.S troops in Germany and his soft spoken voice captivated me as he was reliving his Medal of honor actions.. More should be known about this American Hero. He takes no short cuts, gives no excuses and simply tells the truth. Imagine entering the Army when it was segregated and retiring a Major General. If you ask me that's a true testament to our country and It's work twords progress. It's a shame that people will have to find about about him and his service at the whim of the UA-cam algorithm..
