I remembered when I was gr.8. I've joined our festival of talents in our school too,our choreographer taught us this dance. We danced almost the whole song. I was so amazed that this dance is so beautiful than I expected. This time, I am gr.10 now. #It'smorefuninthePhilippines
Maraming salamat po. Thanks for appreciating my choreography. Tagal na rin nitong video na ito, and I've seen some groups doing this choreography na rin for their presentation. Nakakatuwa.
maka proud! galing ng pinoy! i graduated from another university here in the philippines. but i am very amazed by the performance of these students! galing! MSU Gen San! :)
Grabehan ang galing. Nakakaluha sa galing. Ilang beses ko na sya inuulit. Ang huhusay. Sana makagawa ko ng gantong kahusay na performance.. Congrats. Nakakaproud sa pilipinas. 😂
regardless of the performance, i'm always in awe of the choreographers that design such programs. i just would like to be in their shoes for just one day to know what goes on in their minds and hearts when creating such performances
where did i say that choreographers create dances that can't be performed by the dancers? that's part of your skill as a choreographer. of course, if you demand much more difficult choreography, then that's where you have to hold auditions so you can screen for the dancers that actually have the skills and stamina to execute difficult choreography. the lesser skilled ones can then be given simpler, easier choreography and still be integrated into the overall performance. isn't that supposed to be what a choreographer should be doing?
i don't know how the contest rules are now in colleges how long a team can prepare ahead of time for such contests, but what if there's no such rule? like a team can prepare a year ahead of time whereas other teams only prepare three months ahead of time, common sense tells that the longer preparation will have better impact on the performance, the level of elaborate costumes/props that can be made, and degree of difficulty, won't it?
and for the life of me, i can never choreograph anything (same with anything else artistic like painting/drawing/photography), but i do understand the spirit behind choreography
that's why choreographers that can pull off something successful with short prep time really amaze me. it helps when you have members that have the skill, stamina and time to do it too
have you ever judged cebu's sinulog or other festivals? if so, what do you think of the winners/winning performances? i have my views on them, but i'll hold my thoughts til i know yours ;)
woow .this choreo is so awesome .we gonna dance and borrow this choreo . Now i knew why my classmates pick this up . Its really awesome and fun here in the philippines except there is so many tards and bully in every schools in the philippines .feeling proud 👊 from Quezon
wow congratulations to all the dancers very nice presentation thats why i love the pilipinos very talented i love the beat of the music all the dancers very nice to all their moves congratulations
Proud to be generals 👍👍 Keep it up msuans! Pinakita ko sa mga kaibigan kung arabic dito sa dubai ang sayaw nato and they said it was a very nice performance maka proud lang 😊😀
Damn, this probably is the best choreography I've seen on youtube. And take note, I have high standards when it comes to this. Very nice choreography and I really love that you move from place to place. Although you could have improved you costumes. :)
nakakatuwa naman po ung video its been a year pero ngayon ko lang po napanood nag festival dance din po kami hindi man kami nag champion naka 3rd place naman kami kaya po sila sabay sabay kasi may unity sila
the performance of your group was SUPERB!!!!the only problem is the video resolution...i hope there was a much better video footage to capture the excellent perfomance! Luv it to the max!
Your performance is Awesome. Very very amazing. While i am watching i feel goose bumps all over my body, i just can't imagine how Great are you guys. Now i can say that it's more fun in the philippines. And i was just thinking if can borrow your steps. For our festive dance competition. :) but i'll promise that we will not going to say that it was our's i just feel that your choreography is BEST! :) I hope you will agree. Thanks
The best po! Pwede po magtanong? itatanong ko lang po sana kung ano po yung last props niyo, yung itinaas po sa likod? tas pano yun ginawa? kung okay lang po sainyo? Thankyou po! Ang ganda po kasi ng performance niyo!
I see, and that's fine. That was just a side comment. But the choreography was the main course anyway, which you did very well. All of you were very synchronized. You must have practiced alot!
i'm actually hinting at the level of commitment that departments have for such endeavors. seems like the more academically demanding and rigorous the respective department is with their course work (especially the medically/technically oriented departments), the less commitment they tend to have for such elaborate, artistic endeavors. i've been in three different colleges (by that, schools/universities) for my main degree and post bachelors course work, and for the most part, that's the pattern i've seen.
oh the engineering department--the mainly male dominated department lol. both of my brothers are engineers and they and their course/classmates hated such stuff. they liked being in bands and sports, but not doing anything they considered frou-frou ;) besides the technically and medically oriented departments tend to have fewer amount of students too. they tend to excel in things that require fewer members, but not in mass/dance demonstrations that tend to require more members for better impact
oh heck yeah! i'm in the therapy department, and we tend to get the wins in sports/activities that don't require a lot of members since we don't have as much number of students in our department. when i went to the universities that have more departments, the engineering dept. tend to win in sports/band activities or anything technical
I like the song and steps......Keep it up MSU - Gen. San

isn't it usually the social sciences or nursing departments that tend to excel in this kind of endeavor in college activities? ;)
i'm actually hinting at the level of commitment that departments have for such endeavors. seems like the more academically demanding and rigorous the respective department is with their course work (especially the medically/technically oriented departments), the less commitment they tend to have for such elaborate, artistic endeavors. i've been in three different colleges (by that, schools/universities) for my main degree and post bachelors course work, and for the most part, that's the pattern i've seen.
