despite the popular fancast, your manips, voiceovers, scene selection, structure, everything is so refreshing and original! i absolutely love this video, it's fantastic.
the part that probably got me most of all was the bit with marlene - i don't know why, but it made the most emo :'D but everything was just extremely emotional and beautiful, well done.

This video is so amazing, I love that you chose slightly different narrative than we usually see in marauders era vids, and it was beautifully done. The casting is perfect btw, I always thought of Karen Gillan as Lily but actually the actress you chose could be a great Lily.
Anyway I'm just rambling now, your scene choice and voiceovers and overall editing is flawles, I could actually believe that I am watching those characters interact in those scenes. You did an amazing job with this video, you are really talented

This is GORGEOUS... the manips and the coloring and the damn scene selection like... mannn I’ve tried doing AUs myself and they’re sO hard to pull off but you do it beautifully with a limited amount of footage. The voiceovers are so gorgeous too, I love the part when it goes to the map w that voiceover and then Remus writing like it’s the map, that’s so freakin clever!! ANYWAY. I am so glad I came across this video of yours. Recently I’ve been loving this actress as Lily a lot and you used her so beautifully here. All the Remus and Lily. I mean ?? Yeah, sadly she died before the marauders.
remus lost all his best friends at once. thinking one of them killed the other three, betrayed them and then finally learning the truth and getting his best friend back. he was alone for 13-14 years after James and Lily passed. alone in his transformations, alone in life. his family was gone, and when he got part of it back- it was taken. Again. the Harry Potter series is one of the movie and books that have broken part of my heart. I understand people have to die in war, or in a plot for it to go on. but the way J.K. Rowling made her characters suffer. things i don't even relate to but still hit close to home. J.K. Rowling has caused so much emotional trauma to me, maybe that's exaggerating- but not to me. I mean the marauders and the twins were my COMFORT characters. being so carefree as young friends- family. but there she went, ruining both of them. just hurts alot.
