There is a lyrical sense to the video -- the scenes you choose and the pattern of editing. As I watch I feel I'm exploring. Not with you, but instead of you.
The chance meeting with the dog added something that I am not sure I can describe. An element of serendipity perhaps that echoes experiences I have while riding.
And your use of the Leica M3 has already triggered a desire to acquire another Leica myself. I regret selling my M6 system. I find it curious that you use a 90mm lens. I've scratched my head about that more than once but you aren't documenting things as much as you are seeing things. The 90 may be the perfect choice for you. When I ventured out with one lens it was always a 35mm Summilux....

I couldn't agree more the little dog depicts one of those experiences we get while motorcycle traveling, seems to be about the energies you carry while riding or so! The 90mm I got years back in New York to be able to see closer without approaching too much to the subject, it works wonderfully for so many curious things you encounter on the road and nature as well!

Mario,complimenti ogni filmato è una poesia. Bravo. Io non so se tecnicamente è perfetto, ma gli stati d’animo passano,come il rumore del vento, la schioppettata dello scarico, o l’ombra della nebbia. Il richiamo alla pellicola e al bianco e nero,poi.... cose che mi sforzo di non dimenticare. Parlaci della moto, di come la senti, cosa ti trasmette percorrendo quei sentieri, di come va come là manutenzione,e i suoi limiti e eventuali problemi. Continua così . Ti sono grato. Buona strada

I see the Andes can be beautiful and deadly. I would not want to be around those rock falls as they were happening but in the end I think it makes the trip that much sweeter. I enjoyed your adventure as always... keep it up my friend...

Casei faz 2 anos e vendi minha dyna switchback pra dar entrada numa casa.

Estou juntando grana e acho que em mais 2 anos consigo pegar uma moto, e tô mirando na RE Classic, porém os amigos mecânicos falam muito mal dela, como tem sido sua expeiência com a manutenção dela?

They might be talking about the old version of royal enfields which didnt use j platform engines. The now selling j platforms which i think came in 2020 or 19 has proven to be super reliable.

It looks like you made a new friend next to the river. Great shots. 👍 I passed through the mountains in Oaxaca, Mexico today, so stunning! My frustration was there was no place to stop on the road to take some shots, I managed some, but not as many as I would have liked.
Thanks so much for coming back 🙏 That's exactly what happens to me on the road, there are very few places to stop, sometime it can get really frustrating! I'm absolutely sure you're enjoying Oxaca's landscapes a lot, It must be an amazing place ro ride!
@@Mario_ADV it is, the landscape makes me wonder how it was formed. One mountain had a mesa type look to it, all angular and square. But it had slopes as well, but they looked like they melted, and slipped down revealing the square core. There is something similar outside of Queretaro, a solid core of an ancient volcano exposed by thousands of years of erosion.

Great video! I shared it on my Royal Enfield 350 page. What is your chest mount setup? I have tried the elastic kind but had them pop off at the worst possible time.

I own a classic 350 & can't help wondering why you chose this model to tackle such extreme terrain when an Himalayan would have made much more sense.
Thanks for commenting! For me, it's not so much about the ease of reaching the destination or the features the motorcycle provides, it's more about challenging yourself using a very simple and basic bike that makes you really smile every time you use it
