+James Jones I'm really glad you understand, and thanks for saying such a nice thing about the truck! It really means a lot! I don't know if you've seen the newer tow truck I made earlier this year (there is a video on my channel), but that one I plan to make instructions for. I am well underway with the digital file, but things are (as always) taking longer than expected! Anyway; check it out, I hope you'll like it!
+James Jones Hi! This is not an official set, nor are there instructions or even a parts list!:-( So the only way you can build it yourself is to analyze the video/pictures and work from there!=)
+James Jones Not sure how serious you are, but let me break down the price of such a project for an external person like yourself. Firstly, the model is no longer standing, and was broken down pretty much directly after this video was shot. So I'd have to recreate it pretty much from scratch. Testing, and building would take a lot of time, but for simplicity, let's just say 30 hours. I assume you'd like it to be built out of new parts, so I'd have to order all of those, and there you could easily add another 10 hours just to go through Bricklink and find the needed pieces, place the orders, and pick them up when they arrive. Then there is the rebuilding of the entire model with all the new pieces, say another 10 hours. So that's 50 hours of work time right there. At an hourly rate of, say, €20/hour, you've there got a price of €1000. Then there is of course the price of the actual parts, and the cost of having them shipped to me. No actual idea of the total price of the parts, but let's say €250. So if you want to transfer me €1250 up front, I'm sure we could work something out;-)
Unbelievable. What an imagination and talent.
Well damn. It only the best looking tow truck I've ever seen. And I'm in to rc I know all about man hrs and parts cost 😎
