Great camera work Christina! You were able to get clean, clear closeup shots......love it! Love all the paints you were able to incorporate. I'm really excited to try the Sea Spray, what a game changer for hiding problem areas. Thank you Christina for sharing your talents!
It is amazing to watch these three videos creating unique pieces of art with the same products, and each ending stunningly beautiful, and one of a kind. Each of you remained true to your art, and shared great techniques to push our art further. Thank you. So fun!
I love the Dixie mud, it appears to be easier to use than most fillers. Fun to see how the layers all came together. Even incorporating the “Holey Guacamole” was ingenious. Loved the finished piece.
The faux stain is really beautiful while being understated. Layering the paints then adding in the Sea Spray texture made for a "complex" simplicity, which I think many people try for but rarely achieve. Doing the knobs in the same faux stain was inspired and I think, that really pulled the look together. I'm glad you took off the top, curved piece, and kept the straight, classic lines. Really nice work--and thanks for all the tips!
I told Brandy I was excited to see my FB Besties come over and hang out with my YT Besties. haha This is going to be so much fun! And Mystery Boxes are my favorite!!!
I really love that cabinet shape & size. When I saw the paint colors you had to use, I was not so sure how this was going to turn out, but it is really gorgeous!! I never would've thought to dilute the Burlap to use for a wood stain. And mixing the Holy Guacamole & Burlap to create a less green undercoat is genius! I think this turned out magnificently.
I love that you were able to stay true to your peaceful aesthetic even with all of those colors! Brilliant! Absolutely love the Gem Stone Mousse.....AND the hat!!
I love the modern farmhouse piece! The stain idea is awesome and I love the texture you got from the Dixie Sea Spray! Dixie's Cotton Chalk Paint is an awesome farmhouse white color too. Great job!
I liked the idea of removing the back piece from the top. It gave the furniture piece a whole different look and truly did give it that modern farmhouse vibe when it was completed.
Faux stain with watered down burlap was my favorite part of this furniture transformation. I need to watch again to follow all the techniques you introduced today. My fun new obsession-furniture painting!
I absolutely love your creations. You outdid yourself with your Dixie Bell mystery box. Great job on your color mixing and adding the texture. I especially love the neutral top. That was the icing on the cake for this piece. I'm sure you did Dixie Bell proud!
I love it! My favorite was how versatile the burlap is and the faux stain you created with it. I will be trying the flat clear coat as well. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Hope you new year is full of blessings.
My favorite product you used was the Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint Burlap. I loved how you used the color to create a “faux stain”. Definitely going to try this technique out!
Beautiful job! I liked seeing how all of the layers came together with the distressing and then the top cost. I’ve never used the sea spray, will have to give it a try! Thanks for such a great instructional video!!
No need to have been nervous; you created a lovely piece! Your husband ... "Do you have to wear that in the video?" Too cute. I haven't used the mousse yet, but I'm pretty sure it will be my favorite when I do get to try it out. Happy New Year!
I want you to know how much I LOVE your channel and how much I admire you for freely and good-heartedly sharing so much knowledge and information for brand new beginners. I've seen several different channels dedicated to furniture makeovers but I always come back to yours to find the information I want or need. THANK YOU for sharing!!!
I definitely agree it was the right move to take off the curved wood piece. It breathes new life into it! I was nervous about the painted stain but was pleasantly surprised when I saw it all together! Thanks for all the inspiration!
I loved seeing how you're able to make all of the repairs so that you can't even see they existed before. Your detailed explanations also help. Thank you!
So talented!! I absolutely LOVE Dixie Bell products! The Sea Spray is a fantastic product! Gives your pieces such a vintage old feel! Chalk painting has helped me get through so many hard times in my life and I am so thankful for products like Dixie Bell!

You 3 were perfect to do this Colab with the Mystery Box. You all having very different styles but your all super, super talented!! I've watched your video and Brandy's so far and was wondering how you both were going to work with all those colors and you both were amazing! I loved how Brandy did hers, and yours really turned out really nice also! I think the color and the way you did the stain on the top, legs, and knobs totally worked with the color you made and the technique you used! I don't think you could of done that any better! Now on to the third video and to another very talented lady that I'm sure won't disappoint! You 3 and a couple others are my favorites and love to watch you all and love what your finished pieces look like!! Thank you so much fpr sharing your knowledge, technique and talent!!
Wow! It looks awesome! I love the stain technique you did. My favorite product was the texture. I’ve seen people try to achieve this by using mud but this is much better!
wow! such a great contest! I love burlap!!! and love how your husband realized "Holy Guacamole" was the name of the paint haha. So cute! Loved the wash!
You were the first video I ever saw when it came to furniture painting. You have been a huge guiding light. Thank you for all you do, I now know how much most of it entails.
I really enjoyed watching how the layers came through on this. That burlap color is right up my alley for sure. Thanks for sharing!! And thank you Dixie Bell for the inspiration. :)
I love how you layered the products and achieved an old world look and feel on that cool dresser😍 my fav product is the wash that easily adds texture. I need to incorporate for myself!
I love the natural stain mix color you created! The end piece is very calming to look at. That piece is something I would add to my home decor. Great job Cristina! Once again amazed me as always.
Wow! What a great job you did with this surprise box of goodies! I saved your video to the last of the three and it's amazing how you took the products and made them "your own". Thanks for showing off the Sea Spray since I haven't tried it yet. Right now I'm into the metallics and the mousses are so much fun to play with. Happy New Year and I'm looking forward to each and every one of your inspirational and instructive videos, THANKS!
Wow, lovely makeover, nicely demonstrated. I enjoyed learning about the dixie mud and the tsp cleaner. Didn't even know they existed. I have ordered the paint for a project and really enjoyed using it. Thank you
Love the finished dresser- what a transformation! My favorite product from the mystery box that you used would be the Sea Spray for texture. Love the way it turned out with the distressing as well as the burlap stain that you created- too hard to pick just one fav:-) Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh my goodness, how in the world do you guys come up with these gorgeous ideas. All these came out so wonderful. My mind is blown away as always. I love when you guys do these collaborations. It turned out beautifully .
Looks amazing! All of the products were awesome but I think my favorite was the top coat. Top coats can be difficult to use but the Dixie Belle one looks very user friendly.
Considering so many intriguing, "🎉surprise!" colors, you made it look great and cohesive...so soft and pretty! Really liked that Dixie Mud- it looks like a lifesaver and it's cool that it comes in different colors!
That was such a great change! You did so well with those products. I liked the paint layering and the paint stain. Cheers to no oil-based smells and cloths that might spontaneous combust! My favorite product will have to be the amber mousse. What a pretty color!
I love the fact you can mimic a stain by using faux paint. Great idea. I’m new to furniture painting and am excited to try these products especially caviar and holy guacamole.
The Burlap is such a great, universal color. It was the perfect color to use as a faux stain to bring out the wood grain and create contrast. The collab videos are so fun.
I love the burlap wash you used and the Sea Spray is my favorite product you used. I love the end result of your piece - how the green, beige and the texture looks - fabulous!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Oh my ... it’s so hard to pick one favorite. I love them all and what you did with them on this piece. I love the wash you created with the DB color Burlap! Well done!
I have been refinishing furniture for years. In the past few months I have been going to the Dixie Belle site filling my cart and then deleting it. I chose today to buy my first Dixie Belle paint today from a local retailer. I am beyond excited to get started. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
Gorgeous results 🥰❤️. I love the faux stain technique you used to give that beautiful farmhouse look.👏 This is definitely something I'm going to try. Thank you for all the inspiration!!
I didn’t think I would like the texture layer, but after the close up of you painting the key hole I really saw what you were talking about with the colored layers coming through. Changed my mind
I love just about everything you create! But boy, you had a real challenge on this one with the colors you were given! But, you always find unique ways to make it all beautiful!

Such a great Farm House piece...I love how you mixed the colors....I love Holy Guacamole.. I find it to blend well with many colors for great undertones, but my favorite thing you opened is the sea spray that I used on my Tommy Bahama bed frame that I disliked and now you would never know what it was. It now looks like a 100 year old Antique.. Thank you and Thank you Dixie Belle Paint as I only discovered you because my Mother's name was Dixie and she was an Artist..... Happy New Year!
Love how it turned out. Love that gold on the keyhole and how pigmented that pair was. I can't really pick a favorite product as they all look like fantastic products. Oh and I love the faux stain and how soft and warm the color was.
