No trascendieron !!!

What Morten said in the end is very accurate. "We didn't have to prove anything for anyone who wants to look." Indeed the true fans of A-ha, and people who understand, will see them sooooo much more than just a pop group, they're true musicians.

Sasha Siregar exactly they are not just a simple "boy band" . since the 1st album they've been written all their songs and as Mags says they been true with themselves and never followed any trend they just make their music and i just love that

i love the songs from early days, but find the latest music more organic and melodic, cant say which is my favorite album, even stay on these roads had great songs like "the blood" and "out blue comes greene" that i cant exclude even that album from my list

Amen! You said this so perfectly! I agree with you totally! Yes, there are fans who do really care about them and love them for their phenomenal talents, but there are many fans who are superficial for sure. I watched “A-ha the Movie” and I believe anyone who watches this and doesn’t come away with what you say clearly missed a lot. Anyone who can’t see the three of them are messed up from it (even though they do try to be polite and play it down or hide it a lot. Well, Magne seems to anyway.) are clueless. I am so sorry they all had to deal with some pretty horrible stuff. I have so much respect for them.

Yes, for me, A-ha is Magne, Morten, and Pål. I think you might have missed the point of what the OP and I are saying. Yes, there are fans like us who love them for their phenomenal music talents and we love all three of them for that. The OP and I are talking about what A-ha went through with the music industry and superficial fans did. They made Morten into a sex object and put Magne and Pål in the background. Like it or not, this has screwed up the three of them in many ways and it is a shame. I think too it’s a shame that it feels like they don’t realize how many of us real fans are out there. The ones who truly appreciate their work, aren’t fooled by the Take on Me and pop boy band image. That we truly respect them. They carry this outlook like the world doesn’t really get them. I wish there was a way for us real fans to reach them and give them peace.
I do love Scoundrel Days for sure and agree with you there. My favorites are East if the Sun West of the Moon and Minor Earth Major Sky. I love the Bluesy/60’s rock vibe from the first one along with how Morten gets to show off his low key sometimes gravelly voice. I love the style from the second one as well as more samples of Morten’s low key gravelly voice. Always loved it when they did stuff like this away from the Take on Me vibe. They feel real and genuine. See them in this very interview, nobody is dressed sexy or GQ model like. The album East of the Sun has Morten in the background and Mags and Pål in front. That is highly unusual for them. Morten is always front and center. I wish they stayed this way. They felt so genuine.

Oh, I am saving this! This says it all perfectly! Yes, I love them for everything they said here. ❤️ Love them for their phenomenal talent. If they retired Take on Me, I would have no problem with it. I am grateful for the song for it helped them get noticed. Without it, most likely would have never heard the truly amazing stuff that REALLY is them. I like them here too because they also come across as genuine. There isn’t any sexy clothes or GQ looks going on, just them. I feel I don’t see that often. I feel they lost a lot of this with their Memorial Beach Album. Especially the final video from Dark as the Night. The original one made complete sense. The one that was shown was basically a Playgirl video with lots of crotch shots and bare chest shots of Morten and him posing like in a pin up model . And the cover of that album? Are they Chippendale dancers or musicians? Yikes again. They feel the most genuine here in this time frame to me. With personalities, vibes, looks, and the music. At the same time, this makes me sad. I watched “A-ha the Movie”, things just seem the opposite there, like they hate how things are, but just go along with it. I don’t know how else to explain it. I feel like they’ve all been messed up from it. I do hope they each have some form of happiness in their lives somewhere. Their music has done so much for me, I just want them to be healthy and happy.❤️Thanks for posting this🙏🏼

@@mamarockera80era you know what, I took down my statement because you’re right. I need to apologize. You see, I was just getting back into A-ha after years and years. I just knew of Morten being kind of put out front of Magne and Pål and getting most of the camera time. I have since dived deeper into videos of A-ha and Morten. It is partially his fault for sure. The way he dressed often definitely attracts more attention. I mean, wearing vests with a bare chest, wearing shirts open to show off his bare chest, tight clothes, playing with his long hair all the time, then especially that video for Velvet where he appears naked? That and also seeing him openly flirt with other women in videos (while married. His wedding ring clearly visable). Even saw the clip of the awards show with Lene Nystrøm kissing him right there at the awards podium. First, she addresses his daughter, very young at the time. Telling her she always wanted to do this. (Not long after his divorce) Him seeming not to mind that attention. 🙄Well, yep, people are going to notice his looks first. I was so blown away by all of this. Nope, he is definitely not innocent. He was old enough to understand what could happen. I would give it to him if it was just when they first started out and he was naive, but still doing stuff like that in his 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s? Yep, he is definitely a good part of the blame. I don't feel sorry for him, but I surely feel bad for the women that have been in serious relationships with him as well as his children. 😞
Again, I apologize for my ignorant comment.

@@katyalvarado3990 but Magne and Pal are not charismatic. Especially in early years. They are not memorable. Would you recognize any of the too if they pass by you anywhere? I certainly would not. Even if my life would depend on it. They are "invisible". Let's put it that way. It's a tragedy for someone who wants to be famous. Besides, Their names are hard to read and remember for a non Norwegian speaker.
If Pal would have kept his original last name (Gamst), he would be known wider, as the name is short and simple.
