This augmment is like the reverse of hyperspeed, but a bit worse. Since everyone has 50% prot, will make it very hard to win one on one fights. Whereas with hyperspeed, you can attack from far without dying

it doesnt make sense to give a long range turrets a short range augment
I disagree, it gives a whole new way to play the turret. Spear, Faust and rapid fire are all really fun to use for their long range turrets. If you don't like it, use the base turret or an augment for long range lol

@@mustafaalim64yeah but those have faster reload or aiming times. Railgun doesnt so its still hard to 1v1. Better use hammer as a shotgun
