Wow, there is some incredible misinformation in this video regarding the limitations of a SAN and the benefits of Isilon. This is not "free e-learning" it's EMC propaganda.
I dont think you even cared watching the video before hitting the keyboard. and you comment's only purpose is to yell out against EMC. if you had spent an "hour and a half" to watch the video fully you would have surprisingly found that the presenter did not say much about the SAN, because of the very fact that this video is about scale out NAS solution(s). The presenter did however introduce the limitations of a traditional scale-up NAS and the limitations of a traditional file based NAS system that has the FileSystem,VolumeManager and RAID working independently and how Isilon's oneFS provides a solution to that problem.
