In Sylhet there are four types of lemon (citrus). 1. Cooking citrus ( Shatkora, Ada Jamir etc ) 2.Citron such as Jara 3.Fragrant lemon ( Alichi lemon ) and 4. Juicing lemon. Shatkora has different varieties some are bitter and less fragrant other varieties are mild test and full of flavor. There is nothing to do with lightness test. It is the varieties that makes shatkora bitterness and less fragrant
