I like these obscure games that not many people remember. Everyone has seen the big name playoff games. Keep these types of games coming.
Glad you enjoy them!
Exactly what im saying would love to see the full games. Full season if possible!
Logan Reed agreed
Agree 100%
@@NFLVault once the NFL was willing to have videos like these for current games, I was hoping someone would start doing it for old games. So glad you came along! My favorite channel!
Announcer got two players wrong in the first 60 seconds of this video lol
I thought I was hearing things 😂😂
Dick Stockton for you. He always messes up
@@majin_goon9982 that's Sam Rosen
StingX2 I thought he did
Kevin Donovan haha I thought it was Stockton’s crusty ass
McNabb and T O. was a good duo
How you feeling about hurts and Devante Smith??
Actually this “good duo” imploded the very next year. T.O. Proved that he is not a team player and went on to gain a reputation as a great player but a lousy human being.
@@KINGCATAL1YST Not comparable at the moment
@@alienlife7754 Still played well together in the first year.
@@alienlife7754 many players said TO wasn’t the issue. Stop making up stuff
Jeff Garcia VS Terrell Owens, the year after their departure from SF. Great game
And future eagle jeff garcia..
Yep TO talked a lot of smack about Garcia.
@@erics2739and he led us to a playoff in 06!
2004 was a great year in the NFL.
War eagle for Auburn tigers undefeated team also loaded with nfl players
Hell yeah. This year sucks so far
Yep. Lots of great rookie QB’s that year like Eli Manning, Philip Rivers & Ben Rothlisberger.
McNabb and TO 😩 what coulda been

8:37 That sound just triggered so much nostalgia
I'd LOVE to see Jon Runyan, Tra Thomas and Hank Fraley go up against Cox, Graham and Barnett. Talk about an immovable force against an unstoppable object
that one guy Barnett would get bodied by them lol he’s still really young and still raw.
that one guy this coming from a guy who loved the Barnett pick
Fraley would be obliterated by Cox. Might have a better chance with Jamal Jackson.
Crazy cause now the eagles have probably an even better O and D line
cox is retired, barnett is a texan and only BG is left 😢
My first Browns game. Classic.
Yo Robbie!! Almost 20 years later and I’m still pizzed that the Browns punted in overtime on 4th and 1.5 at midfield. In today’s NFL I’m pretty sure most teams, even our beloved Browns, would go for it facing the same circumstance.
@@robkeel100 That or the Browns could have simply gone for two (and the win to go with it) when they got the last minute TD to tie the game while they had momentum on their side for that matter as well. That of which would have given them better odds of winning over taking the game to OT if you ask me too.
Garcia was no quitter. Two years later, he would replace McNabb and lead the Eagles into the playoffs on a five-game winning streak when they were just about left for dead.
If Garcia had McNabbs throwing talent, he would have been a SB champ
Man,Suggs and Green were gashing Philly with their cutbacks in the running game!McNabb and T.O. were fun to watch!
This scoreboard is the best Fox ever made!
This was a GREAT game!!!
Before garcia would be a lion the next year then a eagle savior for 06 season lol
I love how the Browns have no logo in the score bar. It’s just blank lol. I guess that’s what you get for not having a logo but most networks are nice and use the helmet
EDIT: 9:24 pissing my pants 😂
the logo is literally brown...
Yeah being a Eagles's fan I can say outside of the Playoffs games to that year leading to the SB, the Browns might of been the best game we had and a true nail biter. It sucks that that core team didn't say together and TO/McNabb didn't work because they could of easily went to a few more SBs I mean come the Seahawks represented the NFC next year please..
hey come on the seahawks got fucking screwed in that super bowl, we definitely deserved a shot that year with mvp alexander
Arthur Rahman Seahawks screwed themselves like they did in 2014....unlike just having to run the ball in that game, in 05/XL they missed fgs, dropped passes and got out coached. Holmgren’s coaching at the end of both halves was disgustingly awful. Not to mention the defense giving up a 75 yd run to Willie Parker and Randel El a WR, schooled the cryhawks with a trick play for the dagger. Screwed? Lol 😂 y’all got smacked by the Steelers and choked vs the Pats. Just be grateful Kaepernick can’t throw and the Broncos managed to puke all over themselves....
Yea bro Philly legit had a chance to win the super bowl for 5 years in a row and choked every single year. Sad time for me
hold up, at 5:56 who the heck is ebeneezer echuban and how did he lead the d on that 4th down stop lolol
Thanks for uploading this. Big Eagles fan and I remember being in 8th grade watching this game.
TheDrew4288 im a philly fan also so you must remember all the times McNabb broke our hearts especially in those NFC CHAMPIONSHIPS they lost that they should of won and his horrible last drive when they finally got to the superbowl. T.O. comes back months early from a broken leg and had a legendary performance and McNabb is tired and throwing up on the field in the final seconds on the drive that could of won the game. Alot of people like McNabb but i dont see it. His stats were misleading because he would throw for a ton of yards and tds when games were already totally out of hand either on the winning or losing end. He probably will get into the HOF but if i was able to vote he would never get my vote
Same I'm packers fan and good memories
*likely going to be in recommendations in a few months*
to bad T.O and McNabb played like 1/2 a season together
For Real, they could've gone down as one of the best QB/WR duos of the era if they had had the time
TheDude4077
T.O’s ego was too much
They played together in 20 games I believe. 12 games in 2004 and 8 games in 2005. 20 TD's in 20 games for T.O.
Sprax McNabb’s ego was as big or bigger. And although TO was responsible for the Jeff Garcia rift, McNabb was responsible for this one.
Ya gotta upload the 2013 Eagles Lions Snow Bowl
love that NFL music. only a few weeks away!
Is it just me but I miss this nfl on fox. I think you call it the user interface or the scoreboard regardless I loved it I wish they would bring it back but make it modern.
I agree. The look and sound effects are techy and futuristic, or whatever you wanna call it. Its really cool. It makes the game feel important and serious.
That was a really sweet 'roughing the passer' where Garcia's own back knocked him down. Gotta love NFL officiating.
Man, I was only less than a week old when this game occured. Wish I could go back to the year I was born!
I was only a few months old when this game happened
I'm pressing the like button on all these videos, I love these games I don't remember!
Can you upload TO's return to Philly as a Cowboy in 2006?
🤔
YES!!!
@@NFLVault Uploading it next week would be great!
When the browns knew how play football
You sure? Because they still sucked
Least they had some wins under their name
@@JoeyyIV still sucked
Browns need to bring up their old home uniform their current home uniforms are extremely ugly
I agree they played better with the old unifoms
Young Chuy 23 they changed them this past year but they are still ugly. Supposedly they are changing again next year. Browns are trying to change uniforms as often as they change coaches and qbs
They did
U got ur wish now lol.
@@telamon1071 except the white face mask is a trillion times better
Damn 7th TD of the game for T.O 2:20 must be an NFL record
Remmeber when Owen's was supposed to be a Baltimore raven before this ? Cause Owen's agent messed up his opt out and Baltimore had to eat crow , but Owen's and boller wouldnt of Been that exciting except for the sideline lmao
I think the 2017 team could’ve beat the 2004 team in a head to head. That 2017 defensive front would’ve startled McNabb so bad he would’ve threw up in that game as well
Idk this secondary was elite and they had so much talent that they traded al Harris
Damn Mcnabb and TO are the biggest what ifs
Underrated move by Garcia to go against Dawkins in the endzone.
Love your channel man. It would be awesom if you could maybe do the Raider @ Pittsburgh game in 2015 ... I’m a raider fan and that game really showed me how clutch Derek Carr is... even tho we lost, Carr just kept on coming back! Antonio Brown also went bananas that game ... panic in Pittsburgh!! Lol just throwing that out there!! Keep up the great content !!
I miss Jeff Garcia in Cleveland and with the Eagles
Basically a better chad Pennington and tyrod taylor who's with chargers now hes a heady veteran who can get you to the dance but just not the type to win it
First 10 seconds in already laughing! Browns at 3-0?
Blind squirrels find nuts once and awhile
12:45 Nice game winning 50 yarder by David Akers.
Even I like Sam Rosen’s broadcasting voice. 👍
Funny how Garcia is remembered more fondly now in Philadelphia than TO
2006
I remember this brown team with Lee Suggs and jeff Garcia. I forgot who was the coach though. It's crazy that Butch Davis took William green over Clinton Portis. Oh and Dennis Northcut was a hidden gem
Lee Suggs with kevin Jones at va tech remember?
that roughing the passer call against dawkins to keep the browns alive was just ludicrous lol
this is also a prime example of how fragile of mind TO was. seeing how at this stage of his career, those banners got deep enough into his head that he actually felt like he needed to physically tear them down.
Can you imagine McNabb in today’s NFL, running the RPO with that cannon???
Carlton Taylor yeah he would do the same thing he did his whole career. Have the ball with the game on the line march the team down the field and then throw an interception like he did against the rams in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP to Aeneas Williams and then the worse one was the 99yard interception to Rhonde Barber in the tampa NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game he could never win a big game
@@jeffreyval9665 he beat my Falcons in the 2004 NFC championship. that was a pretty big game. also divisional round in 2008 @ the giants
@@Nick_Valentine2702 with the great defenses those Eagles teams had McNabb just basically had to not lose the game. Out of all the huge games he was in he barely beat the falcons and in the superbowl against the pats Belicheck said the eagles outplayed them so bad its amazing they won that game. Mcnabb had one of the worst superbowl performances you possibly could of had. If you go back to that first NFC championship against the rams ( one of the greatest offensive teams of all time ) the Eagle defense shut them down but once again at the end of the game Aeneas Williams gets a game ending pick not to mention the 7 points Mcnabb spotted them when he fumbled one of the first snaps of the game. T.O. was right that Eagle team was too good to not win a superbowl. Mcnabb was great when the game was out of hand either way but if you needed him on the last drive to win a big game forget it. He just wasnt a big game player. As much as a hate Mike Vick and think hes an evil scumbag piece of shit I would of rather had him on those Eagle teams than McNabb.
What a great game!! Mcnab looks confident throwing the ball that year.. T.O. and Garcia was a very good QB Too bad he was on some bad teams.. What could have been with the Browns.. That was a good game and a good team..
And aj feeley..... former dolphin and eagle great lol
Being an Eagles fan, I liked Jeff Garcia as a quarterback. When he came to Philly, I was ecstatic. The playoff games against the Giants and Saints was I think his finest hour.
Imagine Carson/TO Combo
Unexpectedly, it would be Jeff Garcia two years later who'd win the NFC East for the Eagles.
T.o has B.o😂😂😂😂 what a classic
"Cleveland Browns Stadium is a great place to play!".....k
this old af but.. used to be at the time he said it, back when they had the "dog pound" . you can hear how loud they got at some points of the game here and the stadium was almost full back then
I like it to
K what? Why not?
@@darkangels119 the dawg pound still exists, and, umm the stadium is always completely full
Damm you a legend for this one I miss T.o games never another player like him since he left
Football has changed so much since then lol it’s weird to see the quarterback drop back for a pass under center and not be in the gun.
No rpos in this game
Man I tell ya Jeff Garcia was a underrated qb. I remember the 2 years he played in Tampa Bay, and being a panthers fan I did not look forward to playing against him. The guy was the ultimate competitor, gutsy and could scramble and make a play out of nothing.
Anyone remember the in stadium sign that was so corny, it was hilarious??
“T.O. has B.O.” 😂😂
I think Owens tore it down during the game lol
I wonder who will win the 04 Eagles or 17 Eagles. I think the 04 Eagles.
17 Eagles better all around team
Most bandwagon Eagles fans think the current team would beat the 2004 team.
04 Eagles. Had a MUCH better defense all around than the squad we have now. I'd take weapon x over Jenkins any day. Litto and Sheldon over Darby and Mills. The 04 LB corps was WAY better then the one we have now. Although Hicks is a very good LB, Dahani Jones, Trotter were better. I wasn't a big fan of Simoneau though. On the D-line I'd say they have a tie, a close tie, but still the 04 defense was better than the 17. Plus, we still had the GREAT Johnson at DC. On offense I'd say the 04 offense is SLIGHTLY better. Better O-line and you can't say Ajayi is better than Westbrook. I do believe that Wentz is a better QB and Ertz is better than Lewis and L. J Smith combined PLUS the eagles just got that TE who's getting great acclaim in preseason. It'd be a hell of a game though. I'd LOVE to see Jon Runyan or Tra Thomas go 1v1 against Cox and Graham
55 lifelong eagles fan. With that tf out of the way, 17 Eagles.
I respect your position but I just watched the browns in this vid put +30 on my team. They had their holes as well. BDawk did get plowed thru by Jeff Garcia let's not forget, bad angle or not.
Any time the 2000s era browns got ANYTHING positive going, either a good team would deal them a heartbreaker like this or they’d shoot themselves in the foot (like the 2007 Cincinnati game they lost that wound up keeping them out of the playoffs)
Man I really wish this eagles team would of won the big dance
Just imagine if t.o and McNabb got along and they got us another solid WR.
Ok Vault I see you with the Eagle love #FlyEaglesFly #RepeatSZN
All part of the Vault process
Can you guys please show highlights from the cowboys and Redskins game back in 07, when T.O. scored 4 receiving touchdowns. And keep up the good work.
Also L.J. Smith would potentially be one of the top 5 to 10 TEs in todays game. Great receiver who didnt get fully utilized because the game hadn't evolved into what it is today yet
Tbf he had a fumbling problem. He was a very good receiver who i feared would fumbling anytime he ran lol
sam rosen is such a goated announcer in both football and hockey
Eagles defense was horrible that day getting into a shoot out with the browns of all teams
Don't forget that same Jeff Garcia took us to the playoffs a few years later lol
I will always love TO!
TO was so special.
Pinkston era
One more thing i miss the pure west coast offense that both these teams ran at the time, it use to be a thing of beauty
Chad Lewis caught the touchdown at 1:00 not Mike Bartrum.
People really forget how bad this Eagles team was against the run for most of that season.
Built to rush passer
WOW! The refs almost cost the Eagles the game with that BS roughing the passer call.
Courtney brown era
TO has BO!
Awesome game
War damn eagle 🦅 rod hood played at Auburn when I went to school there!
David Ackers is a HOF and won Philly a lot of games
Last time meeting 1991 Philadelphia Eagles vs Cleveland Browns at Cleveland Municipal Stadium
Actually, they met once in 2000 when McNabb was starting against...Doug Pederson. Yes, THAT Doug Pederson, who'd gone to Cleveland after his only year in Philly.
ZhangtheGreat I'm a old school NFL from 1970 through 1993 era
What's refreshing about older football games? Seeing normal scores of 7 - 14 - 17 - 21 etc .... not these wonky scores of today cause everyone has to chase 2 pts and FGs are taboo
Wow this IS truly vintage. The Browns in a relevant regular season game.
Incredibly awkward that the Browns don't have a logo in their score box 😅 Fox was like fuck it, just leave an orange blank space
They used to rob the shit out the Eagles that saints game when Reggie bush got smacked they got robbed
Sheesh, and I thought Stockton's decline in terms of identifying players was a more recent phenomenon. The man was a great announcer and has/had one of the great announcer voices but his decline was precipitous and noticeable. At least he had a long marriage to Lesley Visser :P
Er, onto the actual video....Man, McNabb and T.O. could've been a really great tandem for a few years. 2004 was a tease of what could've been.
It was Sam Rosen
Sheesh, that's what I get for not listening closely :P Oh well, least I dropped some trivia in here. Thanks kind sir.
As a eagles fan I miss Owens and nab
Wow, the Browns were really good this year.
Imagine how awesome this game would've been if it were a Super Bowl

Browns should not have fired Butch Davis. He was a good coach.
Garcia was a good fit in Cleveland. I wonder what happened
Garcia was pretty decent for the browns back then.
I now know who Kirk Cousins reminds me of:
Jeff Garcia.
If you told me that Cleveland was 3-0 I'd laugh my ass off
Browns may have took the L here but man they fought hard... Those are the kind of things you look for in a team, that also doesn't show up on the stat sheets. Lol
That roughing the passer was a bad call but on the same exact play the defense held receivers and that was probably pass interference on the intended receiver. So yeah that's not roughing but....
This 04 Browns team almost beating this great eagles team better than the current browns of today
I seriously think if the Browns change their uniform color their season and record would be way better.
and to think the browns franchise was considered garbage at this time as well.... makes you think
60 seconds in and we have said the wrong name 4 times already. Jesus christ. U have one job
the browns faced the 15-1 Steelers twice 14-2 patriots and 13-3 eagles talk about a schedule

This is when the Browns were Kinda Decent LOL
Looks like Refs made garbage roughing the passer calls, even back in 2004.
Why was this game so close? Eagles probably thought all they had to do was show up

That's so elementary school. 😂
Brown's defense was terrible. Browns should have gone for it on 4th and put the game in their offenses' hands and not their D.
