Manta Ray Night Dive - November 22, 2023

We went on a two-tank twilight/Manta Ray night dive with my friend and his family, on Thanksgiving eve, in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. We were lucky enough to spot one Manta on the twilight dive and then we had two Mantas put on a show for us on the night dive, as they gobbled up the plankton that was attracted to the bright lights.

Something to be thankful for. I just realized that their mouth cavities are almost half the length of their bodies.
