Jody, she was at Nescafe Basement first, went to music school specializing in percussion instruments, and came to Coke Studio. In fact, Xulfi, the music producer at NB for five seasons, and mentor to underground and young artists, is now bringing his genius to Coke Studio in Season 14. Check out Nescafe Basement Na Kaho for a tribute to a fallen rock guitarist, where Xulfi makes a rare appearance on the guitar.
So the guy singing first is the guy from Soch, and also the one who sang Nerey Nerey Vas in CS. As for the lack of subs, she was just singing notes of the raag, not saying actual lyrics until the subs came back up. Also, this one is produced by Xulfi, who you missed out (07:53) this year Xulfi produced CS 14 which is why you see several familiar faces there.
Wow Nick , finally you reacted to the song i had been waiting so long for you to react. Thank you and wonderful reaction as always. I love your pair with Jodi and i wish to see both of you in some romantic movie or hosting a regular TV show ( just a wish, what else one can do ) . Love from Pakistan
I liked Nick's reaction, to be honest, was quite disappointed by Jodi's reaction. I'm surprised she didn't appreciate the soulfulness and depth of Hadia. I totally disagree with the description of her singing as 'eerie' , out of the hundreds of people who have reacted to this, no one ever got that impression. It was always appreciated as soulful, spiritual and connected with God. Children are pure and are naturally receptive to God and spirituality, if they're not exposed to the barrage of social media and the entertainment media industry etc. MashaAllah little Hadia is blessed to have this connection
'Bol Hu' Beautiful music but I've no clue about the lyrics. Is it possible to have subtitles for stuff that's not entirely English. That would make it easier to appretiate but very good one there Boring Reviews!👍
The first musician is Afghani. He's a refugee. I liked his aura so i read about the musicians info and there was a video which explained a bit about him
This song was taken for indian movie "MALANG" aswel. If you can watch the video version from movie. The song got huge success. Xulfi explored Hadiya while he was hunting for young talents from a music acadamy for kids
Goosebump the Subcontinent has huge talent. Just imagine if India and Pakistan were one nation today it would have lead the World. Britisher knew what future will be so better divide them and WE fools blindly followed the path. When you walk around streets of subcontinent cities every corner you will observe talent and competing talent with each other which I have never seen in any other nation.
Hi Nick, Slowed+Reverb is posting your reaction as it is for this song Bol hu. That person is doing it for other creators as well. They have 29 subscribers. Might want to report them as well.
She was 8 then Great reaction guys thanks Great lyrics this song has Hu is Arabic word, means He We belive GOD is one, that's why sometimes we use word HU when we mean GOD Tu = urdu word for " you" Hope you get good rain
Lets just wait for CS15 guys lol looks like that was more your type with more western modern beats. It truly has become boring reviews. You focus more on thing you shoulnt and things which need digesting passes over ur head spcially Jodi lol. This happens when u have certain expectations. No disrespect
Guys check out “Sati” by Salim-Sulaiman and Vijay Prakash on Coke Studio India. It’s an epic cinematic composition with ancient Sanskrit chants and crazy instrumentation!! 🙂
Please fix the bass in your videos, the sound comes across muffled, I have requested a few times in the past and this was a one single reason I unsubscribed your channel because it’s unfair to the musicians that you are reviewing, your reactions are awesome.
I’ve seen your request before. Thanks for the kind words. It’s weird that you like our reactions and watch them but you use the subscription as a punishment for us not adhering to your requests. I don’t have the ability to adjust the bass in the editing program that I use
I think this kind of music and the purpose and depth of its thought is beyond your level. You better stick to the run of the mill western artificial made up stuff. This is another realm. No blame on you guys though. It’s just not your thing.
When Hadiya started to sing you don't need subtitles she is just showing off her vocal talent, but having subtitles is the best way lol
There were no subtitles for Hadiya's opening, as they were the subcontinental version of Do Re Me Fa So La Ti :)
Yup they were subcontinental notes Sa re Ga Ma Pa.. :D

For a song as great as bol hu, sorry to say but your reactions is kinda flat, somewhat bored
