Hi Thanks for sharing this tip on repairing Megane boot switch. I have just tested mine (boot not opening) I’ve cleaned the switch and put a multi meter on the wires at the boot switch end and I’ve got no power, even tried the wire trick, so confirms I have no power to switch. What would be the next step please. 🙏
Have you checked the fuse.failing that I would check the wires are ok at top of boot where they come through from the car.probably has a rubber boot over them

I have no instruction book it is too difficult to find out the location of fuse
