In my opinion, German is much easier to learn because there aren't so many growling noises in the words, and because many German words have a pattern common with the English ones.

dear alexa, i do family research (genealogy) on my Belgian ancestors. could you do a lesson on interpreting birth, marriage, death records in French? It is the legal terms i have trouble with. Some records are on a form. But some are just handwritten (which is another problem!) thank you.
