Hello Ron, I'm an old friend of Kaitlyn Batt's.. I used to sneak her in to gigs when she was 13/14, so she could see bands like Cold Chisel just prior to their signing to WEA records. Their album ''East'' is monumental, as it was their major break through (in Australia), though ''Breakfast At Sweethearts'' is a personal favourite of mine. A lot of the songs were written in Kings Cross, and were about the place. Sweethearts was a cafe eatery joint that would be frequented by artists, bohemians and Cold Chisel themselves. Batty and I used to eat there after an allnighter. Anyway, just giving your reaction a bit of support. I'm surprised more Aussies haven't checked you listening to this song. Cheers...
Thank you for commenting and adding information. Very cool! I do have the song "Breakfast at Sweethearts" on my list from another viewer, although they didn't add the info. about the restaurant. I'm looking forward to it. One never knows how the UA-cam algorithms are going to work. Sometimes I get lots of views - sometimes not. Lol. Have a great day! 🙂
Ron this song was Written by Steve Prestwich…. And was his first writing credit on an album, with more great Steve tunes to come in the future…. The whole band were encouraged by Don to contribute songs to the album and they all came up with some great tunes ….My Baby ( Phil Small)….. Never Before ( Ian Moss)….. and this by Steve….. and this album East went big in Australia…. East their most commercial….. Circus Animals their Rock Album.
Hi RJJ, I've been a fan of Chisel since seeing them play around Kings Cross (red-light district of Sydney) in 1977. In my opinion, live performances can be a hit and miss. If you check out their hits or prime tracks, I think the studio version should be checked out first. ''Choir Girl'' and ''Breakfast At Sweethearts'' (on nzoz1979 channel) are two examples of the best quality videos of Cold Chisel classics on youtube. If you check out those two songs, the uploads on the nzoz1979 are the best I've seen. Cheers, Batty!

Thank you, Craig, for commenting and adding information. It's great when artists collaborate. 🙂
One hell of an intense band. I got to see them at Bombay Rock (a venue in Melbourne) in 1979. Unforgettable and world class.
Thank must have been awesome! Thank you for watching and commenting. 🙂
