Visited Bryson City on a road trip recently from England. Very laid back place. Also rode THE GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTAIN RAILROAD. Had a wonderful ice cream from THE CHOCOLATE SHOPPE. A great place. We stayed 6 days
My father died on the front porch of a house in the hills surrounding that town. Watching this video I saw so many landmarks where we had memories. Made me very emotional.
I love to camp at Bryson City and play in deep creek. Then go over to the Natahala? (spelling) ..from there into Cherokee... Always something to see or do there.
Bro im watching u get to close to my house with last two. Chk highlands North Carolina, to cashiers North Carolina, to Transylvania county it's South Carolina. O n u not far from my personal playground, 🐉Tail of the Dragon🐉 most famous road in the east. 318 turns in 11.6 miles no side roads, stay in ur fing lane. N pull over n let ppl past or get passed, its ur call. But going south n lake keewee sc, ga sucks skip it lol They all in the left lane in the way lol
Bro Bryson city is such a crap hole, well has Road to Nowhere so theres that. But i pass by hitting the Dragon, n get gas at that BP up on the hill on the 4 lane on the right.
Other than the center of town (Everett St) we thought this place was trashy. We were disappointed after visiting the town. Virtually 3 blocks and maybe 1/2 mile of a nice vibrant downtown.. all surrounded by blight. UGH. Take Veterans Blvd (19) and head back towards Maggie and you'll see all the empty boarded-up buildings and that absolute wreck along the river

Just came from there and was lucky enough to catch the winter storm. Literally a winter wonderland. This place is magical.
