I've been loyal to jimin for 5 years since bts found me..and i do know that he change a lot during those years..at first his bad boy masculine image is bcz company made that image of him..but i must to admit i've got confused..how that cute lil mochi has so much brave to flexing his abs..his face and body didn't fit at all..but through these years..he realised that jimin is not truly him..he more comfortable and relax with how he is now..and i'm happy for it
Back then Jimin have to keep a strong masculine image for the group. He was known as the one with abs and strong body. It was really tough on him since he was so young, it took him a while but over the year he learn how to be easy on himself and be the true Jimin, he's much happier now that he can finally be his true self. So yeah he's actually very soft and gentle boi :(

RM even said how he was awestruck by JIMIN'S physique having such a muscular masculine body but a baby face!! Lol!! Jimin worked hard for yrs to achieve his muscular body way before he ever signed with BigHit!! Jimin had 8 yrs of training in martial arts (4 disciplines (Blackbelt in Taekwondo), since a little boy. At age 11-12, studying & performing hip hop, then contemporary, ballet, even traditional Korean dance! Jimin was proud of his muscles and masculinity!! He hated having to do aegyo and play at being cute at first!! Being athletic but having to play down his natural abilities, was quite hard on him at first!! But eventually, he learned to grow into that role chosen for him, as being the cute one, as his song "Filter" says, I'll be anything you want me to be. Army loved the cute innocent Jimin!! So that's the role he ended up having to eventually get used to doing!! Sad though that so many army tend to believe this is his real self, as proven even by this comment as well as others I've noticed!! It just goes to show just how good Jimin plays this role for Army!! Playing down all his abilities and selflessly supporting all the other members!! But apparently it's still not good enough! As for his athleticism and not liking aegyo, I think he still is that way (is athletic and doesn't really like that cringy aegyo) - that doesn't mean that he is more comfortable showing his abs everyday etc. I feel like he can now be more sensitive and show that side of him, because he doesn't have to put up the tough act. It was really draining on him. He's basically naturally cute, and that's what we see today, instead of the image he had to keep back then. That's just my opinion, though, and what it looks like to me.

Namjoon was the reason he joined BTS, Jimin was the reason he stayed, when he went to America for a month to dance train he thought about quitting to become their choreographers apprentice but Jimin told him he was being silly and not to do that and he should be the main vocalist and convinced him to not leave. Jin, Yoongi and Hobi looked after him, taking him to school etc when he was still 13/15. Tae helped him become less shy They all had such a massive impact on him and thats why he said he believes he could be a manifestation of all their characters come together.

Every one of them 7 BTS are the very first and biggest fan of each other. Its so touching how they have this warmest respect and admiration of each other. I think thats anothee reason why they are very successful as a group as what they are now.
RM to Jungkook will always be his ultimate role model. Jungkook to RM will always be his 'little one'. RM always say he wants to be a dad..and I think he already is and Jungkook is his lil baby/son who loves and admires him so much. When he saw RM when he still 13/14yo he already know he wants to be with/only follow RM to the point he turned down every big agencies offers..amazing. DT I love that you are so observant about the little things.Jimin indeed had that hyper masculine image in the beginning. We have to remember that BTS was suppposed to be a hip hop group and this masculine aggressive image was Jimin's concept created by Bighit and they pushed that image on him, including having him flash his abs as a minor when he was clearly uncomfortable with it. And you are so right. There was a definite switch within Jimin. However I think he did not "decide" to be soft he just decided to be his true authentic self, whatever that may be. And we see the results these days with a happier brighter Jimin. All BTS members have commented on this and especially Tae mentioned during Festa 2018 that the previous image made Jimin anxious because that is not who he truly is, deep inside and that he is much happier and healthier now. I love Jimin and I love that he had the courage to be his authentic self and stay true to himself, despite the pressures. He inspires me to do the same every day and I love you for noticing these details.
And just imagine the fact that JK grew up with and is working with his idol. A man he looks up to more than anyone. They say "never meet your idols" but that doesn't apply to RM.

In the earlier days, jimin had “concept” that the company assigned him but now he is more like himself. You are correct that this change happened around 2016 and he changed his physical appearance around that time too. You will see, when You watch bts 2017 festa next week that jimin looks little bit different. It has been so beautiful watching him grow in confidence, authenticity, & self-love. He makes every single day brighter for me. I could go on forever of how proud I am of him and how much I love him.💜 By the way I find him so funny lately even bts members keep saying that jimin is the funniest member these days. OUR JIMIN IS VERY HAPPY RIGHT NOW. If u watch their more recent shows jimin expresses that he is more happier now. that he found hes happiness and continue to work of them. In the recent bts profile that is what jimin answer mostly. that hes very happy now. and suga said that jimin is the funniest person for him right now. seeing jimin looking contented and very happy looks like he finally found peace and happiness inside himself and other people sees it like suga.

Yeah jimin was trying his best to be cool in a very early vlive he was saying that those cool actions don’t come easy to him but he’s trying to do better. So I think it was that and also the theme of their debut that had him be the bad boy (even though underneath he’s always been a sweet mochi) you see it in Jin too they told him to act cool and mysterious and it was later on that he was able to be more of himself in front of the camera.

When he got the offer for BTS, there were 6-7 more offers for some much bigger labels, but he chose Big Hit and the group in which Namjoon is. I know that Jungkook once jokingly said that Namjoon is his boy crush, and some fans take that too seriously. Why is Jungkook staring at Namjoon during the interview? First because it’s his habit, he stares at everyone. And secondly, because he has said many times that he admires how Namjoon speaks English and that he would change his brain for Namjoon's if he could. I agree wuth you: He admires and loves Namjoon like anyone who has an older brother or sister.

Yeah i believe that "crush" is their inside joke because Kookie is Joon's biggest fan from beginning and he always says that Joon is amazing and that he look up to him and admires him a lot. I didn't say that he was joking about that but just about "crush" thing. But of course shipers are always there to say how Kookie wasn't joking but he is in love with Joon and how two if them are boyfriends. Shipers are really annoying.

I've been loyal to jimin for 5 years since bts found me..and i do know that he change a lot during those years..at first his bad boy masculine image is bcz company made that image of him..but i must to admit i've got confused..how that cute lil mochi has so much brave to flexing his abs..his face and body didn't fit at all..but through these years..he realised that jimin is not truly him..he more comfortable and relax with how he is now..and i'm happy for it

Back then Jimin have to keep a strong masculine image for the group. He was known as the one with abs and strong body. It was really tough on him since he was so young, it took him a while but over the year he learn how to be easy on himself and be the true Jimin, he's much happier now that he can finally be his true self. So yeah he's actually very soft and gentle boi :(

RM even said how he was awestruck by JIMIN'S physique having such a muscular masculine body but a baby face!! Lol!! Jimin worked hard for yrs to achieve his muscular body way before he ever signed with BigHit!! Jimin had 8 yrs of training in martial arts (4 disciplines (Blackbelt in Taekwondo), since a little boy. At age 11-12, studying & performing hip hop, then contemporary, ballet, even traditional Korean dance! Jimin was proud of his muscles and masculinity!! He hated having to do aegyo and play at being cute at first!! Being athletic but having to play down his natural abilities, was quite hard on him at first!! But eventually, he learned to grow into that role chosen for him, as being the cute one, as his song "Filter" says, I'll be anything you want me to be. Army loved the cute innocent Jimin!! So that's the role he ended up having to eventually get used to doing!! Sad though that so many army tend to believe this is his real self, as proven even by this comment as well as others I've noticed!! It just goes to show just how good Jimin plays this role for Army!! Playing down all his abilities and selflessly supporting all the other members!! But apparently it's still not good enough! He's been getting more hate then ever to the point where Jimin who was known to be the most active with army has now sadly stayed away!!

As for his athleticism and not liking aegyo, I think he still is that way (is athletic and doesn't really like that cringy aegyo) - that doesn't mean that he is more comfortable showing his abs everyday etc. I feel like he can now be more sensitive and show that side of him, because he doesn't have to put up the tough act. It was really draining on him. He's basically naturally cute, and that's what we see today, instead of the image he had to keep back then. That's just my opinion, though, and what it looks like to me.

Big Hit is in no way forcing him to maintain that image, even when there was an interview when he talked about his old self and his personal growth. you can tell that he loved himself now and taking things at his own pace.

if u watch bts videos back in 2013-2014 you're gonna see even more clearly that jimin was trying really hard to look like a tough man because big hit told him to be like that, its totally a kpop thing, the idols have a concept they should follow when they debut like "the cute one" "the sexy one" (also jin said that he was really quiet and serious cause that was his concept, he is very changed now) but now they have much more freedom so they can be themselves

Jimin was the reason he stayed, when he went to America for a month to dance train he thought about quitting to become their choreographers apprentice but Jimin told him he was being silly and not to do that and he should be the main vocalist and convinced him to not leave.
Jin, Yoongi and Hobi looked after him, taking him to school etc when he was still 13/15.
Tae helped him become less shy
They all had such a massive impact on him and thats why he said he believes he could be a manifestation of all their characters come together.

DT I love that you are so observant about the little things.Jimin indeed had that hyper masculine image in the beginning. We have to remember that BTS was suppposed to be a hip hop group and this masculine aggressive image was Jimin's concept created by Bighit and they pushed that image on him, including having him flash his abs as a minor when he was clearly uncomfortable with it. And you are so right. There was a definite switch within Jimin. However I think he did not "decide" to be soft he just decided to be his true authentic self, whatever that may be. And we see the results these days with a happier brighter Jimin. All BTS members have commented on this and especially Tae mentioned during Festa 2018 that the previous image made Jimin anxious because that is not who he truly is, deep inside and that he is much happier and healthier now. I love Jimin and I love that he had the courage to be his authentic self and stay true to himself, despite the pressures. He inspires me to do the same every day and I love you for noticing these details.

In the earlier days, jimin had “concept” that the company assigned him but now he is more like himself. You are correct that this change happened around 2016 and he changed his physical appearance around that time too. You will see, when You watch bts 2017 festa next week that jimin looks little bit different. It has been so beautiful watching him grow in confidence, authenticity, & self-love. He makes every single day brighter for me. I could go on forever of how proud I am of him and how much I love him.💜
By the way I find him so funny lately even bts members keep saying that jimin is the funniest member these days. Yeah jimin was trying his best to be cool in a very early vlive he was saying that those cool actions don’t come easy to him but he’s trying to do better. So I think it was that and also the theme of their debut that had him be the bad boy (even though underneath he’s always been a sweet mochi) you see it in Jin too they told him to act cool and mysterious and it was later on that he was able to be more of himself in front of the camera.
