Every UA-cam creator has a learning curve. Video creation and editing is most definitely a skill set. I have improved from my earliest videos and continue to make improvements. I just made a reservation at this campground. I also have a reservation for site 8 at Mystic Springs. (I wish I had seen your video first; I would have gotten one in 7.) Your videos are a treasure!
04/2022: I just returned from site #10. They have installed covered coverings/ pavilions over each parking pad; excluding #10 (as of my visit) I had the entire park to myself. 20 miles into town. I have T-Mobile; poor, spotty service. The river has a boat ramp; along with a trail to the island itself. Lovely park...quiet, remote, primitive and safe. The gate is now completely removed. The trees have filled in considerably, since hurricane Michael blew through in 2018. My dogs had a blast. Lots of cool sniffs, no coyotes howling. There is a weird bird, that sounds like a screen door opening...that was in the tree by our site. Very strange sounding. Thanks for doing such an informative vid. It was accurate and made camping so much easier to plan. I tent camp. ⛺
You made a very helpful video we are learning about free campgrounds we have been paying a lot of money at RV sites so it's time for us to understand more about the nature of life
Another good review! This area was our introduction to Florida's WMA's. We stayed in site #7 and just backed up to the pad. Worked out great for us! We had the place to ourselves! I figured it was due to it being so close to the NF and folks are probably over there. I was curious what they were hunting in the area (using dogs), yet never did stop and ask... There end of January 2021
Campendium is a great resource and even provides a map for you. All at your fingertips. My videos are awesome, but for the mundane tasks I refer folks to Campendium (if the location is there and this one is). Lou
This is one of the best free ones I have seen video for wish there were more in Central Fla. If you find any good ones that will hold a class A in Central Fla, please do a video of it.

I believe the max stay it is 6 or 7 nights. When you go to make your online reservation it will give you both the parameters and the associated availability prior to making the reservation. Thanks for watching. Lou
20 miles into town and stores. Bristol is the closest town, but the closest Wal-Mart is in Marianna (sp.) I stayed there to visit w/friends staying a Mexico Bch. Not that far of a drive imho. Gorgeous place, if you like quiet nature. They welcomed my 5 dogs!!!!! No issues.
