This is where and when Gungor was best... both musically and spiritually. There was a beautiful balance and they spoke to me and reflected what, to me, is the true message. The world is not black and white and there is such radiance in all the spectrum of colors in between. Life is a journey and it takes us all different places but I do hope they find their way home again!
Gungor is beyond talented! I saw them perform at a fund-raiser for a mission. Very good people! Talented performers! First time listening t I this song and the video is amazing. I think it's biggest meaning is just that Christianity and being a follower of Christ doesn't have to be boring.
The video is about breaking from the norm. In their case, the Christian norm. You see a bunch of people all dull, wearing white, church setting. And then boom, they start to realize there's so much more to Christianity and God then what they've been taught in their churches. Color, and freedom. And a greater understanding of God, and the book they've been worshiping.
We don't worship a 'book' like you state. We worship the One and Only Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Bible is written by God but we Christians don't bow to the Bible, we bow to God, Jesus and the Spirit of God.
