My great-grandad had this on casette back in the day and he used to rock me to sleep to this. Makes me cry so much hearing it again after all these years. ;( The 20s was a great time full of real zany verve we've lost in today's culture.
Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks [the band playing on this track] are now at Iguana [240 W. 54th St NYC] every Monday and Tuesday night ! [212 765 5454] They just finished 5 years with Boardwalk Empire and about to release Volume 3 of Boardwalk Empire series CD ! I requested this tune...they played it ! Reply ·
There was a fan made video like this one and when it started there was a purple background with letters saying THE AVIATOR, i cant find it anymore and im trying to look for it because i liked the song, i think the name is HOW DEEP IS THE OCEAN but it was just the music with no voices singing and it sounded like this one. can someone help me here!
anyone got this sheet, i have huge amount of sheets, but most requested notes from me are, nothing gona change my love for you, baker street, careless whisper. and would be nice if you had some other sheet from movie aviator.. great soundtrack! :)
Eh music today sucks anymore you can't even understand what in the hell their saying anything above 1969 other than elvis I won't listen to it I prefer swing especially glen miller ,benny goodman a bit of Vera Lynn,Wayne Newton elvis Presley that's about all I listen to anymore and I'm 14 you'd think I'd be into newer stuff well you'd be wrong because I prefer music on records

I can't understand a single thing you just wrote.
His voice doesn't sound right for the era.
Sorry this sounds totally contemporary. Pass
Agreed, it doesn't have the spirit of the era...an imitation
