The UT33C is a very good and affordable multimeter. I also reviewed and used extensively such a model. It is much better than other no-name designs. The only shortcoming is that it has a rather small voltage range (no 1000V scale). I assume it is so because it would require that the multimeter have a proper ceramic fuse and other circuitry changes. Since about 2020, the model has been updated. It has a different screen, but it is less legible. In some ways, it is not a step forward. It still uses the same 9V battery, which is a quite dated design today. I would have hoped the redesign to address shortcomings, but it is still a recommended product.
My multimeter was showing wrong voltage, there is no calibration option. In this case 1) check the battery, replace 2) clean up inside - after prior battery leakage 3) there is metal horizontal something - clean it with alcohol. This worked for me.
Hello! In fact, UT33D and UTM133D are different versions of the same model - UT33D. These versions are targeted at different markets. The measurement range must be up to 500 V (according to the features also specified by the manufacturer).

just bought the UT33d and the AC Volt measurement can go up to 250V, not 500V as this video shows. seems UTM-133D (as seen in the video) is not UT33D
