Dear Jason, I have to share this story with you. My husband and I went to a local gem and rock show yesterday. I was hoping to find old silver turquoise or coral jewelry. And I did! I found an old silver coral ring for $29. And then I asked the vendor if she has more old jewelry. She said “ Yes, this pile of costume jewelry is old and is only $5 each.”
Now, the pre-Jason me would’ve turned up my nose and walked away. But I remembered what you told us-do not walk away from costume jewelry because a valuable piece might be hidden within. I was a good student so I looked through them but didn’t see anything special. I was going to leave and then I heard your voice telling me “ Go through them more carefully this time. Do it slowly.” Okay, I obeyed. And I found a gold Victorian pendant/pin with a piece of coral branch wrapped on top and a hook on the back (from your previous video I know it’s a pocket watch pin). So I thought “what the heck, it’s only $5. I don’t care if it’s real gold or gold filled.”
And guess what? I took it to a pawnshop and it was tested 10k gold! In Jason We Trust!

I have to tell u Jason. We are learning. I picked up 2 14k brooches, one was a hummingbird with a diamond eye and ruby collar, the other was a leaf with little tiny turquoise cabs, a ruby, garnet, sapphire, and emerald, neither was marked, but the detailing in how they were mounted the colour of the gold and the dainty pin and clasp which are also gold, it was the pin and clasp that tipped me off mostly because u said to look for details and quality in clasps!!!! That belt buckle is a representation of a Peyote meeting. The birds are peyote birds and the meetings are held in a teepee.
The plants could be the peyote cactus. Meetings are held at night and end at sunrise which the skyline looks like on the buckle. Very cool.

Exactly how I feel, too! It used to give me anxiety to scroll UA-cam trying to look for something that would be both educational and enjoyable. I'm super picky about what I spend time watching & Jason's really good at making it worthwhile to watch anything he uploads! You're guaranteed to find content you can learn from as well as enjoy his personality & find how short, sweet & simple he keeps it. For the last few years I quit using UA-cam because its not fun to see so many channels making these 3hr videos-there's barely enough time in the day to spend 3 hours watching one video, especially when it's about something you already know. There's a million like that, from annoying people on here so full of themselves no matter what type of content it seems like the only thing they get on here for is because they're in love with the sound of their own voice. Ain't nobody got time for that. 🤣 Thanks to Jason I can come back to the UA-cam again and not be disappointed!

Hi Jason, My jewellery is white gold, so I have it rhodium plated regularly. The diamond ring with the 1kt is beautiful. I clean my Sterling silver. The collection is beautiful. I adore the $12 set as it's so pretty.
I am wondering if your small brown bowl, shown at the end of the video, might be petrified wood?
I also love the Sterling silver set with the shell design. There is so much detail and beautiful craftsmanship.
