A very good movie. What the aliied militaries did regarding the interpreters was an absolute disgrace. Whilst many were given visa's and taken out of the country, hundreds more were left and all because of military red tape and military bureaucracy. I remember watching a news report about the UK MOD (Ministry of Defence) and it's refusal to allow many of the interpreters they used entry into the UK because they did not meet the MOD's points requirement for being granted approval to move to the UK. The annoying thing is the UK government was not happy with what the MOD was doing but they also did not intervene ever. They just kept saying 'We cannot intervene, it's an MOD thing and if they say no then it's not going to happen'. All this has done is show interpreters that militaries, especially the US and UK cannot be trusted and thus they will refuse to help them.
Absolutely bloody shameful what America did to the interpreters and other people who helped them in their pointless war. Good film though. Brave, brave men.

Excellent. One of the best modern war movies. Gritty, inspiring, with a lot of heart and humanity, and some of the best edge-of-seat, thrilling fight / battle sequences. Captured the spirit of some of the best classic WWII war movies while staying grounded in the realities of warfare - loss, brotherhood, hard decisions, hard-fought skirmishes, and heart-wrenching moments.
So So sad families are still in hiding from the Taliban. I do hope they find safety and wish someone is able to help them. For the Soldier that risked his life to save the man that helped him, I salute u. What that man risked unbelievable. All involved with this rescue mission, I SALUTE you!
