- Last October San Juan County decided to try something different.
County workers traded in the old 40-hour work week for 32 hours.
Same pay. Same workload. The same level of productivity is expected.

So, in other words . . productivity or service to constituents never had anything to do with the number of hours the employees could spend hiding behind the filing cabinets.
this is the right move in this frustrating society. this needs to go worldwide!!!

This only works for workers that are making a living wage. The underpaid will still have to work 2 jobs.
Who are they kidding, govt workers don't even put in 32 hours per week.
Good move: i believe society / humamity got inventions tools handed down we can acomplish things faster and have more time for what really matters and notcto continue work ourselves to death with tools because never enough. ;) more time for enlightenment, learn about ourselves, the planet we live on and rest ! ❤
