do NOT pre order an ubisoft game i made this mistake multiple times and regretted it every time, gamestop doesnt do refunds for opened discs, sony doesnt offer refunds for games you've downloaded and ran, steam is the only place you can refund before 2 hours of game time not sure about epic, battlenet or ubiconnect just know it wont be worth it. chances are its gonna be a live service pos designed to waste your time and money
I'll buy the "Dont give any of your money to greedy corporations" editon for sure!

@@raphael9783 If you like what you've seen so far I'm happy for you. Many of us are here to voice our concern and dislike how they handle new releases and beloved IP's. If we dont do it nothing will ever change. Just as an example did you watch the new IGN trailer praising the gunplay? How he stands in the open they shoot him doesnt even matter..... Horrible...also turns out they bribed a bunch of reviewers with paid trips + hotels + disneyland treat... for me its a red flag ... bit shady ... If the game is good it will speak for itself no need for manipulated/paid reviews.... Maybe disliking overpriced uninspired slop from multibillion dollar companies is cool/maverick for you, but for us its just "having standards" and wanting better from the gaming industry.
@viktorgardony3445 I get that and appreciate that. If you're not going to buy the game or wait, why announce it to the world? Why get on posts about the game and watch. You're reply is insightful and bright up things I didn't know, I just don't understand why people do that.
@@raphael9783 My feed is pumped full with commercials and posts such as this and its hard to stomach all this fake enthusiasm for undeserved undercooked products after a while. I dont go out of my way to search for blood boiling shilling. Also I strongly dislike people being mislead and scammed into supporting a businesses and products that don"t appreciate their time and money. If this is the new standard and this is celebrated left and right then its a loss for all the gaming world. Higher prices and lower game quality. And being forced to see this celebrated non-stop just makes you want to write at least a sarcastic comment
At this point whether the game looks fantastic or looks shitty. You are risking everything by pre ordering. Just shut the hell up and do what you feel is right. And don’t let anyone shame you for what you choose to do. You can shit on a game all you want, but do it till you at least try it then say what you wanna say. I swear this hate/shit culture without actually trying the game out is really getting annoying 😂
Just buy the standard edition, and wait while til dlc is discounted in future.
Paying that much extra for Jabba's Gambit & another unnamed dlc is a no for me
I already played Ghost Recon Breakpoint (standard edition), and still haven't fully completed the additional content. I should go look and see what discounted content there is.
The ultimate edition in Australia is $199.95, and the gold edition is $169.95
I want the version with the character customization built in. Like most open world games.

Never ever pay early access at Ubisoft. Never ! Therefore, buy nothing now. Wait until the games is out, watch reviews and decide. I've decided not to buy either way due to inserted politics in the game. Oh ! And the main character looks bland and fugly.

@MrCroky123 I never go by reviews or what other people say. If I like the IP and it looks interesting, I'm going to buy it and enjoy it for what it is. I've spent $70 on far worse usually. I'm still playing assassin's creed odysee and love it. The $50 I spent on it at the time was worth it to me even though half of the fanbase hated on it. Same thing with far cry 5. I feel it's less stress to just enjoy things and not take it to seriously.
@@raphael9783 I don't know about you, but to me, wasting money is serious stuff. I do watch gameplays online or play demos before I buy a game. And also follow some channels regarding gamming. I trust what I trust and it usually suits me well. On the other hand, buying just for the IP is risky imho. Like if games like this can be ever compared to Kotor or other SW classics baffles me ... putting them all in the same basket is actually mindless buying in my book but I'm glad you're happy with such option.
@MrCroky123 yeah. People have different preferences and you seem to have a good one for one you. I just want to turn on the game and play. I do the same with movies. I'd is something that interest me, I'm going to play/watch. I also wouldn't call myself a gamer so they're could be a difference there too.

Reading the comments i guess i'll try and hold out. I considered it due to possibly a world war 3 to war coming and earlier download of the game. It looks great a demo but it could have been better as an open world. Hopefully its a real open world as we know we are guided for sure at start. The monthly edtion is tempting if they make cancel easy. The gold edition is tempted too but is DLC lengthy or just one mission??
We all know that early access is BS. There is no such thing, It's just normal release date and delayed access for lower paying customers and non preorders.
It’s best to just wait for the game to go on sale because in 2024 especially Ubisoft games are not complete on release. Waiting a few months until all the bugs and glitched are fixed is actually the way to go now. By that time you might also see whether the game is garbage or actually worth playing too

@gengriev0437 why would a gaming company not attempt to make the main character look as attractive to the majority of people, except if they are modeled after a specific person. And the person this character is "modeled" after is way more attractive.
the edition you should buy, is helldivers 2, thank you for your time, never give any money to ubisoft, let this stain on the gaming industry crash and burn, else you'll get more trash copy pasted farcry games, the same assassin's creed game 6 times in a row, a far cry but with blue people, and online only games with day 1 DLCs, xp boosts, that will be killed a few month after launch or take 12 years to make only to have a worse product than a subsystem ( pirate combat of black flag ) that release over a decade ago.
