I missed half the video because you didn't ask me if I was ready! My Hilco one drip valve was not working smoothly and seemed to be clogged. I just ran hot water through it and tried to get some mineral oil to go down into the piston. It seems to work more smoothly but I haven't run any honey thru it yet. Your video gave me confidence to pull it apart if it is still difficult. Thanks!
You have the nicest honey warming cabinet, I'm going to have to keep an eye out for an old 2nd one of those. Some day I'll have my "Honey Room" set up, I'm going to have to get some 2x4's to build some tables and shelving. Thanks Joey watching your videos give me good ideas sometimes.
Good video. Always so much easier to work on something if you can see someone else do it. How do you get your tank to shine so nice? Looks like brand new.
That is the same way I am. I would rather help or watch someone work on something first. I really don't do anything. Hillco likes to make their stuff shinny like a mirror.
Joey, I appreciate this how-to video. I thought I was going to have to tear my valve apart as it "lost" an o-ring, but HillCo came to my rescue and sent me a new one. Still good info to have. I will be saving this for future cleaning. BTW, how often would you recommend cleaning the valve?
Thank you. I'm not sure how often it would need to be cleaned. This was the first time I cleaned this one since it was put into service. I cleaned it this time only because the tank was empty. I only bottle a few bottles each week or as needed, so the valve stays purged enough to keep sugar crystals for forming in it.
Great video Joey. Why do you feel the need to upgrade the heating element in the warmer? Does the OEM not get hot enough quick enough? I am just curious because I may be in the market for one in the future.

I hope it helps when give it a try.
So that's what the guts of a dripless valve look like. I'm going to go clean mine up now. Thanks brother.
Good luck. lol Thanks for watching.

Thank you. It really does a much better job than I even expected. If you have an old Coke Facility near by, you can check with them.
Thanks for sharing Joey. Good information to know.
Thank you and thanks for watching.
You do a great "how I do" video. 😊
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Great content, Joey.
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Thanks for pioneering that task. My “dripless” valve is dripping. I wonder if it has a torn o- ring.
Its possible or either it has sugar crystals preventing from sealing properly.

The heater was fine, the controller sometimes wasn’t turning the heater on when needed.
What do you use for your heat source in your cooler?
I just listed it in the description. Thanks for watching.
