Egypt by Cory Asbury. What an awesome song! I don’t at all agree with the teaching that comes out of Bethel, but some of their writers hit the mark with some of their songs, and this is one of them. The first verse alone covers the miracle of salvation; God’s pursuit and rescue of man; and God’s long-suffering. Glory! Hallelujah!

This one has a lot of stuff going on to combine the guitar parts into one. It was tough to do, but fun. I credit @lambertones_pickups for keeping things nice and clear through all the wet effects and drive. Fun stuff!

Guitar for HIS Glory You don’t think so? Most every song I’m aware of that is regularly played in a churches tend to affirm the core assertions of the Christian faith. What songs do you have in mind that don’t?

I love how you give a small lecture about the meaning of what you are playing. Alot of times we just hear or play songs cuz they sound "Cool" or whatever, but i appreciate you breaking down the meaning of what the song means and how powerfull the message actually is. God bless you!

Agreed on many parts! While I am a true Wesleyan, I don't agree that we are predestined for salvation or (damnation) per se, but I do know that we cannot be saved unless the spirit draw us. Really good stuff! Wesley finds a great balance between the crazies and Calvinism. I don't know that he said it himself, but he was attributed to being within "a hairsbreadth of Calvinism." Thank you for all you do for the Church. Love calling you a brother in Christ!
