In regards to what he said about names... Does anyone else think that, through the internet, we have now also begun using multiple names throughout our lives--in the form of aliases, pen names, and varying account names? ^^
Snyder is a part of California like a Sequoia or the Egret he summons along the Petaluma River. Rare. sacred. beautiful. To answer your question, to much of art today has become shallow, vulgarized version of what was once a genuine religious experience.
