    Hi Jenny
Your method for HST is fast and easy.
Thank you so much for sharing and your quilts are absolutely beautiful. I started quilting in 1988. and this is by far the easiest method I have seen. Thank you again.
    Gloria.

I just started watching your older tutorials. I'm having so much fun, especially watching the ones from 2011. You have come so far, Miss Jenny. Be blessed because you and your family (to include your family of employees) are a blessing to me and others. Thanks for what you do!

Jenny really should have mentioned that all of these blocks are constructed and cute with all bias edges! More, more, more attention to pressing directions, and the fact that the half square triangles all need to be squared up after cutting them. This looks simple, but more for an intermediate quilt maker.

I have one suggestion I have when using this method. After you sew all 4 corners, but before you cut them, take them to ironing board, spray with Best Press or other spray sizing and iron. This will keep the edges from stretching, since your edges are on the bias.

Love this quilt (and Jenny.) Started making this and realized the importance of the "sample" block Jenny speaks about. It is possible to sew your ½ square triangles together white-to-white (like you're supposed to) and they'll still be wrong. I had to take out about ¾ of my stack once I realized why my blocks weren't going together right. Now that I have my sample block completed and handy to reference, I'm on a roll! 😃

+Nancy Davis I did the same thing, only did not realize it until all white to white were sewn together, unhappy ripping!

LOVE this pattern. Layer cakes work by making 8 HST at a time. I am trying it with an Esprit Maisson Layer Cake and home cut cream 10" squares. Your tutorials are wonderful and have helped me make quilts for 30 some relatives from my mother's 20 year stash of fabric she had saved up.

Jenny!!!! This one is even more fun than the strip quilt done on foundation paper. I've made four of the blocks using scraps of 2 1/2 inch strips. Loved it so much, I had to cut more strips.
BUT this one, the Half Square Triangle Quilt, is even MORE FUN. Made a block last night. Couldn't wait. Had to try it. And if you coordinate your scraps, you can get another type of look. Absolutely such a fun block to work with. Thank you for making it soooooooooo fun.

I love your gigantic cutting board.
I have a 2x3 chest freezer and decided to top it with a handmade ironing board. It works great, so I added a ruffled skirt in the same color. Improves the sewing room/kitchen. My cutting board is tiny... a cutting board on that surface would be sweet.

I have just finished all the squares for Keegan's quilt but had a little difficulty at first due to the fact that the color to color can go together two different ways as can the white to white, which I didn't realize, at first, and so I found out the hard way but once I watched this tutorial again, I had it!....It has turned out pretty good but the squares weren't as even as they could be but it still turned out pretty darn good.....thanks for all your tutorials!

Jenny, I found this creative grid ruler that lets you mark the points where the seams should intersect. Its super helpful for people like me who are not very good at eyeballing when I should turn at the corners when I'm sewing the two squares together. I think its called the square up fussy cut ruler. There are holes in the ruler where the seams intersect for any size square, so you can place a little mark to show you where you should pivot at the corners.

I made the cutest little baby quilt out of this pattern using the "Chance of flowers" charm pack combined with a matching solid charm pack. I used some yardage I had on hand for the borders/ binding & a soft baby print for the back.. It only took me 2 days to make the whole quilt (from start to finish) & since I got the charm packs from your store ,on the daily deal (separately & at different times), under $5 for both, it was way cheap to make! I couldn't have made it so fast, or so inexpensively, if not for Your tutorials, the links to Your store, The daily deals, those wonderful pre-cuts (& lots of prayer!) I have been making lots of baby things for my daughters 1st baby, due in aug, in fact I have sewed so much baby stuff i hit kind of a baby stuff rut. The problem was I still needed to make a nice quilt that could be for either a boy or a girl to be given at a shower we were throwing Her on Sunday (It was already Thursday by then!) I remembered that I got those charm packs & had seen this tutorial so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it came together, how nice it turned out & that it will be great for either a boy or a girl! Unfortunately I was in such a hurry to get it done i didn't get a picture of it to share but I'll try to remember to take one next time I visit. Thank You so much for sharing Your love of this craft through these tutorials. My skills/confidence have grown so much over the past 3 & a half years because of them I feel ready to tackle The double wedding ring. Is there any chance You could do a tutorial for that?

I love this quilt. I wonder what it would look like with the colors in the middle.
