I seem to remember that the red square Power, Auto, Norm, and Pursuit buttons lit up completely, not just on the front of the square as shown here. Is this a lighting effect specific to the pilot dash?
AW MAN! This is so amazing. Will this fit on top of the stock dash of the Trans Am? Because I've noticed that on most replicas made, the dash is mounted in such a way that the steering wheel touches the driver's legs when turning, I assume its because they mount the replica dash on top of the stock one, in the series though, Michael has plenty of leg room while turning, I guess because on the show they may have removed the stock dash then fitted the KITT dash.
How about the pilot nose that no one ever talks about? The nose when kitt almost hits Michael’s legs!! I’ve never seen that recreated. It’s in the first season from a far like highway distance driving. I think when they were outfitting the trans ams they didn’t mold a new nose yet but they kinda messed with the stock nose and stuck a smaller sylon scanner they had ripped off Battlestar Galactica?
That sir is a thing of beauty. Words can't describe how cool that looks! Great work.
Thank you very much!
The season 1/2 dash but with the original twin TV screen and frame was my fave
This and Don Colie's pilot dash are the best I've seen

They are the actual buttons from the show and work that way. It might be the camera reflection.
Love it.
Nice pilot dash. I'd say it's pretty rare also as most people make a season 1/2 Voicebox.
We are getting there slowly, but surely friend.

This dash will be mounted on the dash pad like the show did. That's what they did with the pilot dash and such.
That is amazing and nice to see the early voice box module

That's the prepilot car and nothing from that exists.
they used this one because the final car was not ready IIRC, it wasn't planned for this sort of bumper to be used.
sofian senac I’ve searched the internet and damn I can’t for the life of me find a closeup of the prepilot nose!!
@@richie7782 Try typing KITT snub nose
Is that knight rider historian joe huth?
What is the size of crt screen please?
Can anyone tell me what all the buttons on the steering dash stand for?
Hi I am building a KITT too! I like the frames around your tvs. The ones from ZA look cheap.
That is a beaut
If you were my neighbor and you brought me over to show me this....id probably never leave.....just sayin
AHH!
Lol.....i realized that sounded kinda stalkerish or something
@@thomasgreen7407 no worries friend. All good!
