Excellent work Shawn. Seeing the final play of the game, the kneel-down after Reisner's "no touchdown"-it makes me respect coach EVEN more...if that's possible. Incredible work. You and Kirkferentzrocks do great work and make the school proud. Thanks much... Cheers -NOD-
It's nice to know that I could play LB for Mizzou. I played Marcus Coker in high school in rugby and that guy played rugby like he was wearing pads. I tackled him several times and each time I felt like I got demolished.
2009 was the year the defense carried the team. 2010 was the season the defense blew. Stanzi improved a lot his senior season and the offensive line got in sync after the first few games and played well. All of the 4th quarter collapses from the defense and special teams is what costed them another spectacular season. I'm still proud of my Hawkeyes, though. They will be back. Watch out for Mike Daniels to succeed what Clayborn did.
Coker reminds me of Greene, except younger and faster. HELL YEAH. i will still miss the three that we lost, but there are alot of things to look forward to
Im sure the main reason ferentz didn't go for the td at the end was that it was already in hand and that by going for it they might have made a game changing mistake.
anybody else notice when Coker was running that long td run the referee running along on the sidelines, slipping when he tried to stop???? LOL that was hilarious!
@vanfar15 Visual perception is the ability to interpret information and surroundings from the effects of visible light reaching the eye. The resulting perception is also known as eyesight, sight, or vision (adjectival form: visual, optical, or ocular). The various physiological components involved in vision are referred to collectively as the visual system, and are the focus of much research in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, and molecular biology.
@andrewlotto I believe Ricky Stanzi is one of the winningest quarterbacks in Iowa Football history and probably only second or third behind the legend that was Chuck Long. I seem to recall some years back another Big Ten quarterback that wasn't exactly perfect in college and was a sixth round pick is now a three time super bowl champion. As much as I loathe and despise him, Tom Brady was that guy. Ricky Stanzi has the intangibles to be just as good with good coaching.
luck doesn't matter, what matters is the final score after the game, iowa has more points, iowa was the better team that night. Is mizzou overrated? you could argue that, but they still beat oklahoma. Is Iowa lucky? keep in mind that iowa is bad at adjusting thier defense for weekly games, however with time to prepare you can see how well they did. Iowa's defensive gameplan knew that Gabbert would rack up the yards against them, however they kept the score low enough to come back and win.
@GMoney42392 you can clearly view the ball juggle on the ground. they got it right im sorry you had to swallow the loss but the replay was clear mostly clear. but it was obvious the ball juggled on the ground i was very shockd the refs called it the way they did they had done such a terrible job toward the end of the year
@ivegotalongdong dont blame kirk its all on okeefe almost every single lost the last few years are a blown call by okeefe a stupid pass call when he could have played it safe with the run then he remembers that and when he needs a big play he calls...... a counter how much u want to bet a jet sweep is in the first 5 plays iowa runs against tennesse tech how much u want to bet tenn tech knows that and iowa gains less then 5 yards u want some one to blame blame the clown in charge of the offense
@pmdclassics I'm a hawkeye fan, and I know you speak nonsense.. consult the numbers, watch them both or use logic for that matter. Good ol pick six Rick won't amount to much in the pros buddy.
simply beautiful....

I love how it says happy hollidays at the bottom right as McNutt destroys #11 witha vicious block on the Coker td run.

@GMoney42392
part of the ball is in his hands, the other part is hitting the turf. by rule, thats an incomplete pass.
I'm not a Hawkeye fan and I say Ricky Stanzi is the second best QB prospect in the draft.
2:36 wow. I remember seeing that on tv and going nuts.
i was chanting interception right before that
How can you tell whether Moe dropped the catch or not?
did anybody notice the ref falling down as Coker ran into the end zone at the 1:04 mark?
notice how after the play that # 11 got ran over the next play he just tries to dive at Cokers ankles

@ElFutbolista77 getting off to a big lead for iowa helped them in this game
They should have used Coker to run it in Coker is a BEAST!!
I miss DJK #15, he was the best player on the team but he must pay for his actions.

@vanfar15 it hits the ground under him twice as he rolls out of bounds
ah man....such a slow off-season. hawkeye football needs to be 9 months out of the year
@Alpha02 How does playing Marucs in rugby make it seem like you could play LB for Missouri. That makes no sense at all.
@Jabbawockee22 It was a joke. But you don't wear pads in rugby and he doesn't play any different between the two. He plays hard and tough.
blaine! ut was on first down COME ON~
McNutt and Coker both wrecked #11
@Iowagdam iowa should had been at least undefeated because the only loses were a touchdown or less at the last minute situation.
@GMoney42392 you can clearly view the ball juggle on the ground. they got it right im sorry you had to swallow the loss but the replay was clear mostly clear. but it was obvious the ball juggled on the ground i was very shockd the refs called it the way they did they had done such a terrible job toward the end of the year
@KdoubleJz
My thoughts exactly.
marvin mccnut punished him at 59
MCNUTT LAID THE WOOD ON COKERS RUN
coker and eminem say "get back" 2:25
@Mr420woo what a strange thing to say
coker stoned that linebacker in the 3rd quarter
1:03 Referee totally biffs it
@TheKnockout08 no way i wasnt thinking the same exact thing
im not afraid, to take a stanzi
@ 1:00 McNutt owned him
@Jabbawockee22 That's what happens when you go to PG county.
I draft Ricky Stanzi way ahead of Blaine Gabbert.
Missouri roars back??? more like Gabbert roars back
iowa is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
marcus coker = shonn greene 2.0!
@squakeyes At least our bowl win still exists. still cant beat the SEC ey? want some tips?
@ivegotalongdong dont blame kirk its all on okeefe almost every single lost the last few years are a blown call by okeefe a stupid pass call when he could have played it safe with the run then he remembers that and when he needs a big play he calls...... a counter how much u want to bet a jet sweep is in the first 5 plays iowa runs against tennesse tech how much u want to bet tenn tech knows that and iowa gains less then 5 yards u want some one to blame blame the clown in charge of the offense
@Alpha02 Yeah,he's good, but he's also stupid. Suspended for the bowl game. No way we're winning against Oklahoma now.
@pmdclassics I'm a hawkeye fan, and I know you speak nonsense.. consult the numbers, watch them both or use logic for that matter. Good ol pick six Rick won't amount to much in the pros buddy.
coker fo heisman!!!!!!!!
