The Fox and the Crow | නරියා සහ කපුටා | කතාන්දරයක් ඇසුරින් කතාකරන්න මෙන්ම ලියන්නත් ඉගෙන ගනිමු.

Dear students,

Once upon a time, there was a very cunning fox. One day, while this fox was walking through a forest, it saw a crow sitting on a branch of a tree. The crow had a piece of cheese in its beak. “Mmmm, I would like to have that piece of cheese.” Said the fox to itself. Then the fox went to the foot of the tree and began to praise the crow. “Oh! What a beautiful bird! Look! Your feathers are soft and glossy. How bright your eyes are. I am sure your voice is sweeter than other birds in this forest. Can you please sing a beautiful song for me? On hearing the praises of the cunning fox, the crow opened its mouth and began to sing happily. Just then, the piece of cheese fell from its beak. The fox jumped up, caught it and ate it happily. The crow realized that it was cheated by the fox.
