👍🏻👏🏻💪🏻 You are a real Logic-expert, but you‘re also a very good teacher doing a summary of what you taught your viewers at the end of each „lesson“. And your masterclasses 1 & 2 are a must for any Logic user. Great, grande, großartig! 👍🏻👏🏻💪🏻
Hi Pete. Not yet... but I do now have my own channel, so if you're interested in more content like this, head on over! ua-cam.com/channels/-RFQtqWAG6kFPRkumqn7rA.html
@@jonobuchananmusic I found it yesterday and subscribed. Btw, I’m trying to find out how to use the step sequencer with compound time. 7/4 in this case. I’ll watch the guide on your channel. Have a good day.
I still have Apple Loops Utilty for converting audio to Apple Loops. Otherwise BIP and edit accordingly as you did. As converting to sample instrument leaves gaps when slowed down and can sound clunky as it did here. Like Stylus RMX would do too.
Excellent excellent excellent. Thank you so much for your time and perfect teaching. You are truly a great teacher. If you have any courses on Logic, I will be more than happy to pay and subscribe to it.
What if I go to the Keep Tempo settings and change the imported files to "On"? Would any of these time-stretching techniques still work even if I know what I want my project tempo to be? This is mainly for my beat tags and acapellas...... any info and advice would be invaluable to me.
Unfortunately, although more convenient, using the option key to time stretch audio is of much lower quality than using Flex Time in Logic. Not sure why they don’t use the same algorithms between those two features. Also, another disadvantage when using Flex Time is that you then can’t reverse an audio region unless you bounce in place or turn Flex Time off. I wish Apple would fix those things when it comes to time stretching in Logic.
This guy is 1970s/80s BBC level, in other words a world class presenter. All the best presenters are online now, while the amateurs are on TV
I honestly feel like I stumbled on the best Logic education channel there is out there. Thank you. ✨
You are such a gentleman knowledgeable who teaches so well we could not thank you enough

Thanks Jono, love this series.
Very clear and concise - thank you!

Jono, why do some loops bring back to their original sizes when trying to time-stretch them?
THANK YOU!

It's when you don't choose keep that they will adhere to your project tempo.

I just noticed that I previously hit “dislike” in error. My apologies. I just corrected myself by hitting “like”.
