Fr. Joseph, what a powerful teaching. I simply love the action and the statement "At the appointed time all questions shall be answered, if you have patience."
Lovely, I haven't heard this hymn before I don't think, but it is very nice, and this homily is very informative, and I haven't heard anything quite like it before. This is very clear and very sacred indeed, I really love it. Well done Fr Joseph Edattu VC. An extremely intense and sincere homily !
Ave o queen of heavenly graces Your son is my lord and savior king of heaven and earth's expanse christ our lord Light of the father hail bright star in the heavens gleaming from our god your light is streaming all our joy's in your son, jesus alleluia ,alleluia
This is the Church founded by the son of most high, Jesus Christ. He himself put the foundation to this great church. Its so special he himself become the corner store of this great Church. It’s so wonderful the lifestyle of Catholic Fathers guarantees them to attain the greatest privilege on heaven: “Rev 14:4 These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes”. It’s a pity that “who calls themselves as leaders/ministers/prophets/reverend… endless titles / endless denominations” lost this greatest privilege of walking with the lamb of most high, wherever he goes.. Sorry… மந்தையில் சேரா ஆடுகளே … realise… and come back… to the very Church of Jesus Christ.
Hail Mary full of grace the lord is with thee blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus Holy Mary mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen
put your trust only in the Lord Jesus Christ who can save your soul. He is Lord and there is no name given to mankind to be saved on earth expect Jesus
Hail Mary full of grace the lord is with thee blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus Holy Mary mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen
By the way, I don’t adore the statue procession; our heavenly Father has defined what a statue is: Psalm 135:16 They have mouths, but cannot speak, and eyes, but cannot see. 17 They have ears, but cannot hear; they are not even able to breathe. 18 May all who made them and who trust in them become[b] like the idols they have made! Exodus 20:23 Do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gold to be worshiped in addition to me.
+Arul Rayan This is what the Magisterium of the Catholic Church states about veneration of statues (Catholics venerate, they do not adore statues as you incorrectly state): Sacred Images"18. The use of sacred images is of major importance in the whole area of popular piety, since culturally and artistically they assist the faithful in encountering the mysteries of the Christian faith. Indeed, the veneration of sacred images belongs to the very nature of Catholic piety. Such is clear from its artistic patrimony, which can be seen in many churches and sanctuaries, and to which popular devotion has often contributed. Here, the principles apply which govern the liturgical use of images of Christ, Our Lady, the Saints. These have been traditionally asserted and defended by the Church in the knowledge that "the honour rendered to the image is directed to the person represented"(20). The necessary rigour which has to be applied in drawing up the iconographic scheme of churches(21) - in matters relating to the truths of the faith and their hierarchy, beauty an quality- must also be applied to images and objects destined for private and personal devotion..." text (extract) from item 18 of the DIRECTORY ON POPULAR PIETY AND THE LITURGY, CONGREGATION FOR DIVINE WORSHIP AND THE DISCIPLINE OF THE SACRAMENTS, VATICAN CITY, DECEMBER 2001.
