Also running into crossfader bleed with my MC4000, this was very helpful because it's good controller with a host of options very slept on by dj's who uses small format controllers.
Hi - I was experiencing cross fader bleed myself and I sprayed it with contact cleaner then compressed air and it was fine after that.. Although I don't use mine much at all though.. More of a toy that I do the odd family birthday parties at...
I was hoping I could actually visualize what you were talking about, maybe you can redo this video with actual footage of the work but at least I know it is possible to change the fader if ever needed.
Hi Justin - This was very useful for me. I had my MASTER knob break off in transport (in a Gator padded bag of all things!) and with your video i was able to open it up and perform a workaround on the knob! Thanks!
Useless video, didn't show anything
Thanks for the video! While in there did you look at the channel faders? They are too stiff to my liking. Anyone have ideas on safely getting them looser? Or are they upgradable?
Would this same procedure work to replace the channel and pitch faders on the 8000?
Yo denon what the FUCK!! Why can't you make equipment with the crossfader isolated so it can easily be replaced from the front panel? Yeah just like equipment was built back in the day!!
I need help. The fader for my MC4000 is bleeding however I can't locate the Mini Innofader Plus as was used to replace the stock fader. Can I use any other of the Innofaders available?
The innofader shows what is compatible. Or you could contact them. But I do not believe any others are compatible.
My denon mc4000 keep flashing the lights..what is the problem?
Hi - the only time I've seen my MC4000 flashing the lights (as in the startup sequence) is when it is not connected via USB to a computer... If you are connected to the computer, it could be your USB cable is bad ... ?
DJ Omi here Connected mini innofader plus got a green light switch back to position 1, tried music on both decks fader does not work not cuts just here both track at the same time checked setup on Serato settings under mixer how did you set, what did you set?, also did you have to do adjustment on yours, tried to do adjustment and still no luck. So help please.
I think it would be best for you to contact Innofader support for this. I know I had to make a couple of adjustments, but I do not recall what they were. I'm also using VDJ, so we may be dealing with different issues because of the differing software.
Had that same problem with the Vestax 380 and Serato. Could not get any results so I had to send the fader back. Very weird.
We’re you ever able to resolve your issues with Serato? Very curious because this is what I am running
You never explained why you would want to replace the stock fader when mine works absolutely great,...To be honest, I didn't watch the whole video, but I did scan it for a purpose,... I didn't find one,...useless video,...
Fader bleed. Denon as of late has used some cheap parts. The most disappointing thing is they made it really stupid hard to replace. I guess this is lol what you get for buying a $400 controller.
This controller fails miserable in all categories..sampler flaws loading playing tracks in sampler banks without warning...tracks jumping accidentally from left to right or visa versa...worst invention..peroid
Just wondering why you would make a video without actually changing out the fader. The video is useless without you doing a step by step.
