One of the best album ever made
To me this beautiful piece of music reminds me of 2 people who I love very dearly that I sadly lost 2021 and to me they are the brightest of all the stars.

How Ironic as i just thought certain aspects remind me of pink floyd
After 25 years this song still leaves me speechless... I can't believe how perfect it is in every detail and atmosphere.
Agreed. I might say it is the most perfect album of all time. The Beatles made one, Pink Floyd made the second, and AIR definitely made the third…
I can remember buying the CD from HMV after hearing "La femme d'argent" on a magazine sampler, probably "Q" magazine.
I love the entire album but this track just transcends beauty and life for me.
I turned off all the lights. opened a bottle of red wine (Beaujolais, what else) and just had it on repeat and let it pull all these emotion's out of me that sometimes, for me anyway only beautiful music can drag out.
Sheer genius, and mostly recorded on an 8 track machine

J'écoutais Air et cette chanson quand j'étais au lycée. Tant de souvenirs. "Chanson pour solal" était l'une de mes préférées, avec "Jai dormi sous l'eau" et "Le soleil es prés de moi" 💜.
