I found this video looking up info about this show. I found a back stage pass from this show attached to a photo of me and Mark Slaughter (Slaughter was the opening act)
Bret Michaels had "IT" during this time period. Still does. He was destined to be a star. Helluva performer. Its the little things that make a great front man besides the singing, like the words spoken prior to "Ride the Wind". Saw them on this tour, met them all. Good people. People who hate on these cats, didn't see them. Talkin about loud too? Outside of Motley Crue, no band attracted more women to their concerts than they did. Women being my favorite past time, music second.
One of the best riffs ever, "Look What The Cat Dragged In". Has it been done before, sure, but that riff is one the hardest from that era. CC made it so much harder with his palm muting.
All those guitar and bass amps/speakers on stage. Lol. It made sense back in the 60's, but with the way P.A systems had evolved in the late 90's a single small amp each would have been sufficient. I guess the wall of speakers behind them looked too cool to get rid of? I know if you were in the crowd, front stage you could sure hear the guitar or bass! Depending on which side of the stage you were at. Poison put on a great show back in the day, before C.C got too hooked on the drugs. He's a helluva guitar player.
Check their album "Swallow This Live" because that's pretty close to what they played every night of this tour with the exceptional change in a city or two . So far in this video I heard Look What The Cat Dragged In Look But You Can't Touch Good Love Ride the Wind I Want Action Rikki Rockett drum solo. Something to Believe In
No they were actually probably one of the best live bands of that era. And just absolutely jam-packed full of energy. Let's put it this way ...we all got our $25 worth for those concerts back in the day
I have this on VHS. But, my copy starts at, "Good Love". This has the intro! Too cool! Thank you for posting this! 🤘🏻

It’s like watching a Poison video in real time. Very cool!
Saw them in 91 in Memphis then again when they returned a year or 2 later. Best live band. Couldn’t hear right for 3 days after this tour.
People who hate on these guys, didn't see them during this time period. They were good and loud as f?!K!!!
People can say what they want.
